So Exciting..... East Lincoln is on an amazing journey. We are looking to merge with Crestwood Christian Church and there is exciting energy here! With the upcoming Lenten Season - of course that brings much meaning; our outreach for Souper Bowl Sunday covered the field with gifts to "Tackle Hunger"; we are once again hosting our almost famous Potato Bar to benefit Kamp Kaleo and the many kids whose lives are changed at Kamp; and we are joining in with Crestwood on their out reach to Matt Talbot. All this and more...... See you Sunday and on March 27th for the Potato Bar!

The Souper Bowl is over, but hunger is far from! ELCC went into Overtime and collected a nice amount of food and cash contributions for the Food Bank! One is five kids should not be hunger in our communities.

We scored a touchdown! It is exciting to report our progress in the game of Souper Bowl. We have Scored in the Fight Against Hunger!

In addition, we are honored to partner with Sunrise Optimist Club who donated a popcorn machine to be "refurbished". We replaced some parts, cleaned and purchased supplies; all to be given to The Orchard for use in their program, check out the amazing life changing activities going on at the Well Being Initiative.

Thank God for these and all the blessings he provides!.

Due to the forcast for bitter cold tomorrow morning, we have made the difficult decision to cancel church for Sunday Dec 18th. Please use this time for personal prayer and reflection. Tomorrow we light the candle of Love, so tomorrow - light a candle and rejoice in the gift of Jesus Christ in your life.

Sunday... Come receive! The Lord's Supper will be served- as both a sacrament as well as the Message! Pastor Arlene Johnson is presenting a series on the Lord's Supper. The first in the series, Our Father, was the message last week and it was wonderful, come hear Hallowed Be Thy Name!
