Dear Parishioners,
I am happy to announce that the school roofing project has been successfully completed. As you can see in the before-and-after photos, the new roof looks excellent.
In addition to the school roof, the roof on the connector between the school and the church was also replaced, including new metal edging and gutters. The total cost for the school roof and the connector was $64,000.
I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Best Solution Contracting LLC for their quality workmanship and the fair price offered to our parish. Thank you as well to all of you for your continued generosity and support.
We are now preparing to move into the second phase, which will involve installing air conditioning in the church. I am currently working on identifying the best option, and more details will be provided in the near future.
In addition to the school roof expenses, our parish was required by the state to conduct environmental testing, including soil, lead, copper, and radon testing. Thanks to the generosity of Eco Logic Environmental, as well as Deacon Vincent’s son, Marc Riccardi, and Brian Thompson, the total cost for these required tests was $8,950.00.
