IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Last Saturday we had a man attend Mass who was in possession of a handgun. I’ve talked with several local law enforcement personnel about it as well as Bishop Golka.

The man has only come the past two weekends so it’s not certain he will return.

A deputy from Kit Carson Sheriffs office is going to try to be with us to talk with him if he is there.

I feel that it is your right to know about this and make your own decision about attending Mass. This is not an attempt to place undue stress or panic but to present the situation as it is.

I will be offering Mass as usual but if you decide to attend Mass elsewhere I understand.

Hugo: Sun 9 am
