Shouldn't church be one of the safest places in the world to say, “I’m struggling”?
Our next sermon series, NO SHAME, has been on my heart for a long time.
There are people who love Jesus and are still struggling—overwhelmed, exhausted, afraid, or walking through a darkness they cannot seem to shake. Too often, they struggle silently because of shame or fear of what others may think.
The Bible does not hide human pain. It speaks honestly about anguish, fear, exhaustion, grief, despair, and suffering—and it shows us a God who meets hurting people with truth, compassion, grace, community, hope, and healing.
Beginning Sunday, October 4 at 10:00 AM, we are starting a six-week series at North Park called NO SHAME: Mental Health, Faith & the Church.
There is no shame in struggling. There is no shame in asking for help. And you do not have to carry it alone.
If you are struggling, if you love someone who is struggling, or if you want to learn how the church can better walk alongside hurting people, I hope you will join us. Pastor Jim

🚨 - National Night Out - Lincoln Park - 🚨

Come on out and let us pray for you! We will have a prayer booth set up, along with a booth set up to tell you information about our church.

National Night Out is today, Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5 PM to 8 PM, at Lincoln Park. Lincoln Park is located at the corner of Elm and Shawnee Streets. Shawnee Street will be closed to traffic.

Parking will be available for individuals at our parking lot and Lima Memorial’s parking lot on Elm Street.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Life can be hectic, which makes it easy to forget how faithful our Lord is (Genesis 9:8-17). Make it a point to seek joy in the little things, and thank the Lord for them!
