True strength isn’t built in comfort—it is forged in the valleys.

The world teaches us to rely on our own power, but Scripture teaches us to lean entirely on Christ. When Paul wrote, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13), he wasn’t sitting in a palace. He was in chains. He was talking about the supernatural power to endure every high and every low.

If you are standing today after everything you’ve been through, it isn’t by luck. It’s because His grace held you together. God doesn't always remove the storm, but He always empowers you to stand right in the middle of it.

Stop waiting to feel strong before you trust Him. Lean on Him today, because when you are at the end of your own strength, His power is just getting started. 🙌❤️

Cleanse/Clean Scriptures:

If you cannot provide a donation of deodorant, non-perishable food items such as canned goods

The Westside UMC Choir began practice Sunday morning at 10:20.

They will singing the beautiful song PRESS ON at our Church's 25th Anniversary Celebration during the 9 am Worship hour.

YOU can be a part of this group and we'd welcome community members, past choir members and all voices to join in song giving praise to our great God.

It was great to be with you in Worship Sunday morning.
Isn't that just a fantastic way to start out your week? Asking the Lord to be present in your day to day.

Moses reached out to God questioning why he was chosen to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. He stated he was not eloquent with words and felt very inadequate.

🌹 I've been there and you may have been too, not feeling like you're qualified to handle a job or position that God has placed in your hands. God CAN use you. God wants to use you. We need to place our confidence in the God of all Creation so that we can soar on wings like eagles! (I've always wanted that birds-eye view.)

Have a great week serving our great God and we'll see you in Worship at 9 am Sunday morning.

You don’t have to earn God’s love—you already have it!

No matter what your week has looked like, remember this amazing truth: God’s love for you never fails, never runs out, and never depends on how perfect you are. He loved us first, simply because of who He is.

Here are three quick reminders of His incredible love for you today:

1. It is unconditional: You cannot make Him love you more with your successes, and you cannot make Him love you less with your mistakes.

2. It is sacrificial: He showed us the ultimate definition of love by sending His Son, Jesus, to give us life and hope.

3. It is a secure foundation: When we rest in His love, it changes how we see ourselves and how we treat the people around us.

You are fully known and deeply loved by the Creator of the universe.

"And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." — 1 John 4:16

Simply put, "You Are Loved."
