Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to prove our worth to the world that we forget God already gave us our value.

You don't have to earn His love.
You don't have to be perfect to be prized.
You are uniquely designed with a purpose that only you can fulfill.

Take a deep breath today knowing that you are deeply loved by the King of Kings.

"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." β€” Ephesians 2:10

Remember playing hide-and-seek for hours until the streetlights came on? Or building blanket forts to stay safe from imaginary monsters? When we were kids, our adventures were just about having fun.

But looking back now, it is beautiful to see how those childhood moments were actually preparing us for a lifelong walk with Jesus.

πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ The hiding places taught us what it feels like to seek a safe refuge, pointing us to the One who is our ultimate hiding place and shield (Psalm 119:114).

πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈβ€ The scraped knees from learning to ride a bike taught us about resilience, showing us that falling down is just part of learning to trust the hand that picks us up.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦½ The getting lost in the woods behind the house taught us the pure relief of finding the path home, mirroring the way the Good Shepherd always finds us when we wander.

God never wastes a single moment of our lives. Those innocent days of wonder and exploring were quietly shaping our hearts to understand His protection, His guidance, and His grace. The wild adventures of our youth were just the first chapters of a lifetime spent leaning on Him.

REFLECTIONS ON MATTHEW 7:1-5
πŸ‘€
It is so easy to spot a tiny speck of dust in another person's life while completely ignoring the literal lumber yard in our own front yard. Jesus had a great sense of humor, but His point was clear: check your own heart before you critique someone else's.

Let's practice looking inward before speaking outward today and everyday.

Join us in Worship Sunday at 9 am.

6-7-2026 SERMON: A Speck And A Log
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 7:1-5

HYMNS:
Tell Me the Story of Jesus
Spirit of the Living God
Are Ye Able

PRAYER:
Lord, help me see my own mess before I point out anyone else’s. Forgive me for the times I judge others while ignoring my own massive mistakes. Give me the humility to clear the log out of my own eye before I try to fix the speck in a friend's. Fill my heart with your grace today so I can offer that same grace to the people around me. Amen.

Knowing the Books of the Bible helps you navigate God's Word with confidence and deepens your daily walk with Him.

Why It Matters:
Fast Navigation: Flip to verses quickly during sermons or study.
Big Picture: See how God's story connects from Genesis to Revelation.
Better Context: Understand who is speaking and why it matters.
Faith Building: Protects you from taking single verses out of order.

Can you complete the Books Of The Bible Maze successfully? Challenge your friends and family with this as well. Let's be people of The Word Of God!
