What do you do when you pray, ask God for help, and nothing seems to happen?
In our Dear God series, we bring another honest question to God: Why don’t You answer me? In Psalm 13, David gives words to the frustration so many of us feel when we've been praying, waiting, and wondering if God hears us. He doesn't hide his disappointment or pretend the waiting is easy. He asks God, “How long?”
But David's prayer doesn't end with the question. Even before his circumstances change, he chooses to trust in God's unfailing love. His story reminds us that we can be honest with God about our disappointment and keep coming to Him, even when we don't understand what He's doing.
