We ask that you keep the family of Maude Maloney in your prayers. Maude passed away on Thursday, April 23rd, at the age of 86. She was the mother of Ken Roberts, Kimberly Wilson, and Cindy Alexander.
A proud graduate of Boone Trail High School, Maude was a spirited cheerleader during her school years, carrying that same warmth and enthusiasm throughout her life. Her faith was an important part of who she was. A devoted member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, she was deeply involved in church life and found great joy singing in the church choir. Maude enjoyed many hobbies that kept her active and connected with friends. She loved bowling and was a member of two bowling leagues, where she built lasting friendships and many fond memories. She also took great pride in her yard and flower garden, spending countless hours nurturing the beauty around her home. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping for pottery and vintage Fenton glass. These outings were especially meaningful when shared with her sister, Peggy. The two were inseparable—truly “two peas in a pod”—and their bond brought them both endless laughter and companionship.
In addition to her children, she is survived by her sister Peggy Danielsen of Sanford; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two stepsons, William A. Maloney, Jr., and Arnold Maloney.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 26, at 2:00 PM at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Seymour officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family would like to thank Liberty Hospice and her caretaker, Cathy Paschal, for the support and tender loving care extended to their mother.
