THE REVELATION OF THE SONSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting, get an understanding. We know by many infallible proofs that the Son is the Christ, The Eternal Spirit from heaven, and that He put on a hu

man body and wrought many signs, wonders, and miracles here on earth pertaining to the Gospel. First there must be a rightly dividing of The Spirit coming from heaven which is the Son of man, the blood line that The Spirit used which was the Son of David; and that which pertaining to the manifestation of The Spirt, the Gospel through flesh and blood – The Son of God. We all have an outward man that perisheth, but if we die daily from the outward man our inward man is renewed day by day (2 Cor. 4:16). Now concerning Jesus Christ, there was an inward man – The Son of man; and an outward man – The Son of God. The inward man Jesus Christ according to The Spirit, who (“is before all things, and by him all things consist”, Col. 1:17) came down from heaven and the title of this man from heaven is called the Son of man (“And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven”, John 3:13). It is the Son of man who came down and ascended back to where He was before, (“What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?”, John 6:62) and put on an outward man – the Son of God, which was born of Mary (“therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of the shall be called the Son of God”, Luke 1:35). We see here that the Holy Ghost called that which came from Mary’s womb the Son of God. The bloodline according to the flesh that The Spirit used to manifest The Son to us was called the Son of David (Rom. 1:3, “Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh”). INFALLIBLE PROOFS THAT THE TITLE SON OF MAN IS REFERRING TO THE SPIRIT

Who is Lord? “For the SON OF MAN is Lord even of the sabbath day.” – Matt. 12:8

Who came from heaven? “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the SON OF MAN which is in heaven.” – John 3:13

Who was in the heart of the earth? “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the SON OF MAN be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” – Matt. 12:40

Who rose the 3rd day? “The SON OF MAN must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. – Luke 9:22

Who must be lifted up? “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the SON OF MAN be lifted up” – John 3:14

Who is standing on the right hand of God? “I see the heavens opened, and the SON OF MAN standing on the right hand of God.” – Acts 7:56

Who is coming back? “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the SON OF MAN cometh.” – Mat. 24:44

Some men preach and teach that the SON OF MAN and the SON OF GOD are the same. “This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.” – James. 3:15

So herein we contest that the SON OF MAN is the Spirit from above, that the bloodline according to the flesh that He used was the Son of David, and that the manifestation of the Spirit in flesh and blood is and was the Son of God. Biography of Apostle L. Mathis:

Greeting in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ:

Apostle L. Mathis was born in Washington, DC. He was raised in various parts of the DC Metropolitan area. By the grace of God, Apostle Mathis withstood much peril and darkness coming up in the streets of Southeast and Northwest DC. In 1992, while on the streets of DC, Apostle Mathis heard the voice of God, not many days hence, Apostle Mathis answered God’s call and repented of his sins and was baptized in water in the Name of Jesus Christ and received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. From that time, God had spoken with Apostle Mathis and had shown him many signs and visions, but Apostle Mathis could not understand how God could have chosen him to preach His word. Though he was reluctant, the following vision sealed his faith. Apostle Mathis asked the Lord to show him a sign and at that very moment, instantly, the Lord took him into a deep trance and lifted him up into the heavens, wrapped his arms around him, showed him the world and said unto him…”See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. “ (Jeremiah 1:10) God then anointed his spirit and lifted him up into the heavens three times and on the third time he came back down preaching the Gospel in the name of Jesus Christ with great power and boldness. Hunter’s death in 1991, The Church in the Lord Jesus Christ was going through great havoc. Apostle Mathis became a great support to the Minister left in charge. It was there Apostle Mathis began magnifying his gift and began ministering the Word of God. Early in 2007, God began leading Apostle Mathis, with many signs and infallible proofs, regarding ministering in North Carolina. Apostle Mathis spoke to the leader about what God was doing, and asked the leader for his blessings and the leader blessed him. For about six months, Apostle Mathis preached out of a small building in Lilesville, North Carolina. In November of 2007, with no warning, unbeknownst to Apostle Mathis, he was told openly by the leader in a meeting of brethren that he could no longer preach in North Carolina, but could only preach in churches the leader allowed him to preach in or he would no longer be in the church. The all-knowing God had prepared Apostle Mathis for this shocking turn of events by leading him and two other brothers to go on a 50-day fast, 48 days before this meeting. Apostle Mathis asked the question “Whom ought I to obey, God or man?” At that moment in the meeting, Apostle Mathis stood up in front of them all and shook the dust off of his feet. There was a great silence. Apostle Mathis chose to obey God instead of man, and continued ministering in North Carolina. Before the end of 2008, God blessed the church to move to a larger location in nearby Wadesboro, North Carolina. Before the end of 2013, God blessed the church to relocate to a beautifully renovated sanctuary located at 1234 East Caswell Street also in Wadesboro, North Carolina. Though many lies have been told, God is with him and has never have forsaken Apostle Mathis. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has blessed Apostle Mathis to continue steadfastly in the Apostles’ Doctrine and teach and preach a gospel that cannot be condemned. “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.” (John 8:29)

 **PART 1 IS TONIGHT!**

**IS “THE WORD” AN ADJECTIVE, A VERB, OR THE SON?**

During **TOG Broadcast Sun. 09/06/26 AM LIVE Headquarters Campus Site**, Gino Jennings said:

 **51:26–52:41**

G **“Word is an adjective that’s describing God. And word also is a verb…because words is something God use to bring the nonexistence into existence.”**

**BUT IS THAT WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS?**

 **John 1:1**
“In the beginning was **the Word**, and **the Word was with God**, and **the Word was God**.”

**“THE WORD” IS A NOUN. “WAS” IS THE VERB.**

There is no adjective in John 1:1.

But here is the bigger question:

**WHO DOES THE BIBLE IDENTIFY AS THE WORD?**

 **John 1:3**
“All things were made by **him**; and without **him** was not any thing made that was made.”

John says **“HIM.”** He does not say “words.”

 **John 1:18**
“The only begotten Son, which is **in the bosom of the Father**, he hath declared him.”

 **John 8:42**
“I **proceeded forth and came from God**.”

 The Bible makes it simple:

**THE SON WAS IN THE FATHER’S BOSOM AND PROCEEDED FORTH FROM GOD.**

 **Hebrews 1:2**
God “hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son…**by whom also he made the worlds**.”

Put the verses together:

John says everything was made by **“HIM.”**

Hebrews says God made the worlds by **HIS SON.**

**THE “HIM” IS THE SON!**

 **THE FALSE BOOK ARGUMENT**

Gino lifted the Bible and said:

G **“Not in the beginning was the book.”**

Nobody said the physical Bible was sitting there in the beginning.

**THE BOOK TELLS US WHO WAS IN THE BEGINNING.**

John did not say:

In the beginning was an adjective.

In the beginning was a verb.

In the beginning were spoken words.

John said:

**“IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD.”**

Then John calls the Word **“HIM.”**

And Hebrews says God made the worlds by **HIS SON.**

**WAS THE WORD THE EVERLASTING FATHER?**

Gino also said:

G **“In the beginning was the Word. It was the everlasting Father.”**

 **BUT JOHN NEVER SAID THAT.**

John said:

 **“THE WORD WAS WITH GOD.”**

 **1 John 1:2**
“That eternal life, which was **with the Father**, and was manifested unto us.”

Read it slowly.

**WITH THE FATHER** does not mean **WAS THE FATHER.**

If the Word was the Father, then “the Word was with God” would mean **the Father was with the Father.**

But Scripture gives us the answer:

**THE ETERNAL LIFE WAS WITH THE FATHER.**

**THE SON WAS IN THE FATHER’S BOSOM.**

**GOD MADE THE WORLDS BY HIS SON.**

**DOES “WITH GOD” MEAN “HE’S A GOD OF HIS WORD”?**

At **54:29–54:40**, Gino said:

G **“The Word was with God simply mean he’s a God of his word.”**

**THOSE ARE NOT THE SAME WORDS.**

John said:

 **“THE WORD WAS WITH GOD.”**

He did not say:

**“HE’S A GOD OF HIS WORD.”**

You cannot change **“WITH GOD”** into **“A GOD OF HIS WORD”** and call it the same statement.

**John 1:18** gives the biblical explanation:

“The only begotten Son, which is **in the bosom of the Father**.”

**THE WORD WAS WITH GOD BECAUSE THE SON WAS IN THE FATHER’S BOSOM.**

**WHAT ABOUT THE PHRASE “A GOD”?**

 **1 Kings 18:27**
Elijah mocked Baal, saying:

**“he is a god.”**

But when Elijah spoke about the true God:

 **1 Kings 18:36**
“**LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel**.”

Then the people cried:

 **1 Kings 18:39**
“**The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.**”

Look at the difference:

 Baal — **“A GOD.”**

The true God — **“THE LORD…THE GOD.”**

So saying **“He’s a God of His Word”** does not explain John 1:1.

John already told us:

 **THE WORD WAS WITH GOD.**

**NOW PUT ALL THE SCRIPTURES TOGETHER**

THE WORD IS NOT AN ADJECTIVE.

THE WORD IS NOT THE VERB.

 JOHN CALLS THE WORD **“HIM.”**

 THE WORD WAS **WITH GOD.**

THE SON WAS **IN THE FATHER’S BOSOM.**

THE SON **PROCEEDED FORTH FROM GOD.**

ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY **“HIM.”**

GOD MADE THE WORLDS BY **HIS SON.**

The Bible explains itself.

So answer this simple question:

**IF JOHN CALLS THE WORD “HIM,” AND HEBREWS SAYS GOD MADE THE WORLDS BY HIS SON, WHY CHANGE “THE WORD” INTO AN ADJECTIVE, A VERB, OR SPOKEN WORDS?**

 PART 2 THIS FRIDAY

THE VOICE OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD OR A HIRELING?

During TOG Broadcast 2000–2001, March 7, 2025, Dallas, Texas, Gino Jennings said:

“If one go out, 1,000 come in. Two go out, 2,000 come in. It has to be like God says.”

WHERE DID GOD SAY THAT?

First Corinthians 4:6 warns us “not to think of men above that which is written.”

If you say, “God said it,” then show where IT IS WRITTEN.

JESUS SAID GO AFTER THE 1

Matthew 18:12 says when one sheep goes astray, the shepherd “seeketh that which is gone astray.”

Matthew 18:13 says when he finds it, “he rejoiceth more of that sheep.”

Luke 15:4 says he will “go after that which is lost, until he find it.”

Jesus never said, “One sheep left, so God will send 1,000 to replace it.”

JESUS SAID GO AFTER THE ONE.

 THE VOICE OF A HIRELING

John 10:11 says:

“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”

John 10:13 says:

“The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.”

The difference is clear.

THE GOOD SHEPHERD GIVES HIS LIFE FOR THE SHEEP.

THE HIRELING CARETH NOT FOR THE SHEEP.

Every sheep matters to the Good Shepherd. He does not speak as if one sheep can simply be replaced by a larger crowd.

 GOD CAN ADD THOUSANDS

Acts 2:47 says:

“The Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

Yes, God can add thousands. Nobody is denying God’s power. But where does Scripture say 1,000 people MUST replace everyone who leaves?

God adding souls to the church is not the same as saying every person who leaves must be replaced by 1,000.

 MANY LEFT JESUS

John 6:66 says:

“Many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.”

Many left Jesus himself, yet he never said, “Each person will be replaced by 1,000.”

Jesus asked, “Will ye also go away?”

Peter answered, “Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life” (John 6:67–68).

Peter pointed to THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE, not crowd size. A large crowd does not prove that a preacher is right.

 THE POTTER REMADE THE CLAY

During the TOG Broadcast on May 26, 2024, Gino also said:

“God can replace every one of us. One go out God bring 100. Five go out God bring 600.”

But Jeremiah 18:4 says:

“The vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel.”

MARRED means damaged or spoiled.

Look at the biblical pattern:

MARRED

STILL IN THE POTTER’S HAND

MADE AGAIN

The Potter did not replace the clay with different clay. He worked on the same clay and made it again.

Jeremiah 18:6 says:

“As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.”

Jeremiah directly concerns Israel, nations, and repentance. Yet it reveals that God can work upon marred clay and remake it.

 MADE AGAIN AND BORN AGAIN

Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned.”

Acts 3:19 says, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted.”

John 3:3 says, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

First Peter 1:23 says we are “born again…by the word of God.”

Second Corinthians 5:17 says, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”

Here is the biblical pattern:

ALL HAVE SINNED

THE CLAY BECAME MARRED

THE SINNER REPENTS

THE SINNER IS BORN AGAIN

GOD MAKES THAT PERSON NEW

God does not replace a repentant sinner with somebody else. He makes that sinner new.

HIS SHEEP ARE IN HIS HAND

John 10:27–28 says:

“My sheep hear my voice…and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

John 6:39 says:

“Of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.”

Jesus did not say, “If I lose one, the Father will give me 1,000 replacements.”

HE SAID, “I SHOULD LOSE NOTHING.”

First John 2:19 says those who went out “were not of us,” because if they had been of the faithful, “they would no doubt have continued with us.”

 THE BIBLICAL PATTERN

ONE SHEEP GOES ASTRAY, GO AFTER IT.

 ONE SHEEP IS FOUND, REJOICE.

THE GOOD SHEPHERD GIVES HIS LIFE FOR THE SHEEP.

THE HIRELING CARETH NOT FOR THE SHEEP.

THE MARRED CLAY REMAINS IN THE POTTER’S HAND.

 THE POTTER MAKES IT AGAIN.

THE REPENTANT SINNER IS BORN AGAIN.

 CHRIST’S SHEEP SHALL NEVER PERISH.

So where does the Bible say:

ONE GOES OUT, 1,000 MUST COME IN?

IT IS NOT WRITTEN.

PASTOR GINO: VOICE OF A HIRELING “1 GOES OUT, 1,000 COME IN”

Tonight, open your King James Bible and follow along.

We will examine statements made during Truth of God broadcasts. This is not about attacking Gino or blindly defending Apostle L. C. Mathis. HEAR WHAT WAS SAID, COMPARE IT WITH SCRIPTURE, AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF.

“1 GOES OUT, 1,000 COME IN”

During TOG Broadcast 1773–1774, April 8, 2023, Greensboro, NC, Gino said:

“If one go out God will send that 1,000 to replace that one… five go out 500… if 70 go out 700 will come in.”

But is that the voice of the GOOD SHEPHERD or a HIRELING?

JESUS SAID GO AFTER THE 1

Matthew 18:12 says when one sheep goes astray, the shepherd “seeketh that which is gone astray.”

Matthew 18:13 says when he finds it, “he rejoiceth more of that sheep.”

Luke 15:4 says he will “go after that which is lost, until he find it.”

Jesus never said, “1 left, so God sends 1,000 to replace it.”

HE SAID GO AFTER THE 1.

 THE VOICE OF A HIRELING

John 10:11: “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”

John 10:13: “The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.”

THE GOOD SHEPHERD GIVES HIS LIFE FOR THE SHEEP.

THE HIRELING CARETH NOT FOR THE SHEEP.

Even 1 sheep matters.

“IT HAS TO BE LIKE GOD SAYS”

During TOG Broadcast 2000–2001, March 7, 2025, Dallas, TX, Gino said:

“If one go out, 1,000 come in… two go out, 2,000 come in… it has to be like God says.”

WHERE DID GOD SAY THAT?

1 Corinthians 4:6 warns us “not to think of men above that which is written.”

Acts 2:47 says, “The Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

Yes, GOD CAN ADD THOUSANDS. But where does Scripture say 1,000 MUST replace everyone who leaves?

If you say, “GOD SAID IT,” SHOW WHERE IT IS WRITTEN.

 MANY LEFT JESUS

John 6:66: “Many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.”

Many left Jesus himself, yet Jesus never said, “Each one will be replaced by 1,000.”

Jesus asked, “Will ye also go away?” Peter answered, “Thou hast the words of eternal life” (John 6:67–68).

Peter pointed to THE WORD, not crowd size.

 THE POTTER REMADE THE CLAY

During the TOG Broadcast, May 26, 2024, Gino said:

“God can replace every one of us… one go out God bring 100… five go out God bring 600.”

But Jeremiah 18:4 says:

“The vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel.”

MARRED means damaged or spoiled.

But notice:

MARRED → STILL IN HIS HAND → MADE AGAIN.

The Potter did not replace the clay.

HE REMADE IT.

 MADE AGAIN AND BORN AGAIN

Jeremiah 18:6: “As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.”

Jeremiah directly concerns Israel, nations and repentance, but look at the biblical pattern:

Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned.”

Acts 3:19: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted.”

John 3:3: “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

1 Peter 1:23: “Being born again… by the word of God.”

2 Corinthians 5:17: “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”

ALL HAVE SINNED → MARRED.

REPENT → TURN FROM EVIL.

BORN AGAIN → MADE NEW.

God does not replace the repentant sinner with another person. HE MAKES THAT PERSON NEW.

HIS SHEEP ARE IN HIS HAND

John 10:27–28: “My sheep hear my voice… they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

John 6:39: “Of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.”

Jesus didn't say, “If I lose 1, God will give me 1,000.”

HE SAID: “I SHOULD LOSE NOTHING.”

And 1 John 2:19 says those who went out “were not of us,” because if they had been, “they would no doubt have continued with us.”

 THE BIBLICAL PATTERN

1 SHEEP GOES ASTRAY → GO AFTER IT.

1 SHEEP IS FOUND → REJOICE.

GOOD SHEPHERD → GIVES HIS LIFE FOR THE SHEEP.

HIRELING → CARETH NOT FOR THE SHEEP.

MARRED → STILL IN HIS HAND → MADE AGAIN.

 BORN AGAIN → MADE NEW.

 HIS SHEEP → NEVER PERISH.

**Tonight, open your King James Bible and follow along.**

Tonight we continue with **Part 2**, examining statements made during the **First Church TOG Broadcast, Saturday, August 15, 2026, live from Zurich, Switzerland.** This is not about attacking Gino Jennings or defending Apostle L. C. Mathis. **Hear his words, compare them with Scripture, and judge for yourself.**

# # # “TRANSFORMING THEMSELVES”

**2 Corinthians 11:13–15** warns about “false apostles, deceitful workers, **transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ**.” Paul adds that **“Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light,”** and his ministers can appear **“as the ministers of righteousness.”**

Something can **look apostolic, righteous and full of light**, yet appearance does not prove God sent it. A preacher cannot be proven by his title, clothing, followers, travel or organization. **SCRIPTURE MUST TEST THE MAN AND HIS MESSAGE.**

# # # “I WANT TO BE THE FIRST ONE”

Speaking about Patmos, Gino said:

**“I haven’t heard of anybody preaching holiness there since John died…I want to be the second apostle after John…I haven’t heard of no apostle went after John. No sir. So I desire to be the first one.”**

Notice: **“I HAVEN’T HEARD” became “I WANT TO BE THE FIRST ONE.”** Not hearing about another apostle going to Patmos does not prove nobody went. Traveling to John’s island cannot make someone the apostle after John.

The question is not, **CAN YOU GET TO PATMOS?** The question is, **DID GOD SEND YOU?**

# # # WHO COMMENDED YOU?

**2 Corinthians 10:18:** “For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.”

A man cannot establish his apostolic position by placing himself directly after John. **THE LORD MUST COMMEND THE MAN.** A title is not proof. Followers are not proof. Worldwide travel is not proof. Even appearing righteous is not proof, because Satan can appear as **“AN ANGEL OF LIGHT.”**

# # # PATMOS DOES NOT MAKE AN APOSTLE

Gino also said:

**“I don’t even know whether Patmos even still exists, but if it does, I want to go there.”**

Patmos still exists, but it is not a special place of worship. **Revelation 1:9–10** says John was on Patmos, but John declared, **“I WAS IN THE SPIRIT on the Lord’s day.”**

**Being on Patmos did not give John the revelation; being in the Spirit did.**

Jesus said in **John 4:21**, “Neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.” Verses 23–24 say true worshippers worship **“IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.”**

If Jerusalem was no longer the required place of worship, Patmos cannot make a man more spiritual or apostolic. **PATMOS PROVES WHERE YOU TRAVELED, NOT WHO SENT YOU.**

# # # THESSALONICA: SAME CITY, SAME MESSAGE?

Traveling to Thessalonica does not prove that you brought **Paul’s message** back. **1 Thessalonians 1:1** speaks of **“God the Father and…the Lord Jesus Christ.”** Verses 9–10 identify **“the living and true God”** and tell believers to wait for **“his Son from heaven.”**

**1 Thessalonians 2:19** says, “Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?” Paul speaks of **HIS PRESENCE AND HIS COMING.**

Jesus said, **“I am with you alway”** (Matthew 28:20), yet **1 Thessalonians 4:16** says, **“the Lord himself shall descend from heaven.”** John 3:13 identifies **“the Son of man which is in heaven.”**

**PRESENCE DOES NOT CANCEL HIS COMING, AND HIS COMING DOES NOT CANCEL HIS PRESENCE.**

The question is not, **DID YOU GO TO PAUL’S CITY?** The question is, **DOES YOUR MESSAGE MATCH WHAT PAUL WROTE?**

# # # DON’T BE DECEIVED BY THE APPEARANCE

Do not judge by **THE CROWD, TITLE, TRAVEL, ORGANIZATION OR APPEARANCE.** Judge the doctrine by **THE WORD OF GOD.**

If a man claims to be an apostle, **LET THE APOSTLES TEST THE APOSTLE.** If he claims Paul’s message, **LET PAUL TEST IT.** If he places himself after John, **LET JOHN TEST IT.**
