On the fourth day of his visit to India, Hazar Imam met with the Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendra Patel.

Later in the day, Mawlana Hazar Imam granted a third didar in Gandhinagar. The Mukhi of Rajkot Headquarters Jamatkhana submitted bay‘a on behalf of the Northern Saurashtra Jamat.

Across the country, members of the Jamat have made voluntary pledges to participate in service, care for the elderly, protect the environment and invest in their own continuing learning and education. These pledges were presented to Hazar Imam as a Tohfa or gift; a symbolic reminder of the Jamat’s continuing commitment to live by the Imam’s guidance in their everyday lives.

Jab dil ko noor milta hai, har lamha ibadat ban jata hai. "Tere Didar Ki Roshni Mein" ek ruhani aur dil ko sukoon dene wala geet hai jo shukrana, mohabbat aur roohani noor ka paigham deta hai.

Is geet ke har lafz mein ek ehsaas hai, har sur mein ek dua hai, aur har pal mein roohani sukoon chhupa hai. Agar aap bhi noor, mohabbat aur ibadat ke jazbe ko mehsoos karna chahte hain, to is geet ko zaroor suniye aur apne doston aur parivaar ke saath share kijiye.

Mawlana Hazar Imam granted two didars for the Jamats of Northern and Eastern Gujarat and Southern Saurashtra.

In the morning session, the Mukhi of Ahmedabad Headquarters Jamatkhana submitted bay‘a on behalf of the Northern and Eastern Gujarat Jamats.

Hazar Imam was later presented with an art installation titled The Promise: Bay‘a, featuring hand-on-hand imagery from the Holy Qur’an. Clustered around the image are tiles featuring the palm prints of young murids, with pledges made to the Imam on living their bay‘a each day.

In the afternoon session, the Mukhi of Junagadh Headquarters Jamatkhana submitted bay‘a on behalf of the Southern Saurashtra Jamat.

Following the afternoon didar, Hazar Imam was presented with an art installation titled Blooms of Gratitude, featuring more than 10,000 flowers, arranged to form the word Shukr. Thousands of senior citizen members of the Jamat and people with disabilities came together across various Jamatkhanas and Learning Resource Centres to participate in creating the piece.

Mawlana Hazar Imam today met with the Honourable Governor of Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvrat. They discussed AKDN’s work to improve the quality of life in the state of Gujarat and beyond.

Governor Devvrat has served in this role since 2019. His major contributions have included advances in environmental conservation, girl’s education, women’s empowerment, and natural farming in the state.

“Thank you for your warm welcome, for a fascinating discussion, and for the joint commitment to work together on several pressing issues of our time,” Hazar Imam wrote in the guest book.

Ek murid ke dil se nikla hua shukrana aur mohabbat ka paigham apne pyare Mawla ke naam. Jab intezar

khatam hota hai aur rehmaton ka noor dil ko roshan karta hai, to har zubaan par sirf ek hi sada hoti hai:

"Shukr Ya Mawla, Dil Ki Dua Qabool Hui."

Yeh nazrana mohabbat, shukrana aur roohani khushi ka izhar hai. Allah Ta'ala hum sab ko Mawla ki rehnumai, barkat aur noor se hamesha malamaal rakhe.
