Here is part two of our study of 1 and 2 Kings.

05/22/2026

1 & 2 Kings are one of the most tragic historical books in the entire Bible. God's people go from glory to ruin, wise kings becoming corrupt, and a nation slowly collapsing because it walked away from God.

But even in the middle of failure, exile, and judgment… there’s still hope.

In this overview, we walk through the rise and fall of Israel’s kings, the role of the prophets, and how the entire story ultimately points us to Jesus—the true King who will never fail.

Yesterday’s elections were a great reminder that every vote matters.

We’re thankful to see two pro-life Georgia Supreme Court judges elected and grateful for leaders who value the protection of life and the biblical principles we hold dear. Keep praying for wisdom, integrity, and justice for our state and nation.

Next election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Church, get out and vote today, May 19!

Voting is a gift and responsibility that allows us to influence the direction of our country for the good. As followers of Jesus, we are called to support leaders and policies that uphold biblical truth and reflect Christian values. The idea that “church” and “politics” should be completely separate is not from God—it is a lie meant to silence believers and keep faith out of the public square. Following Jesus impacts every part of our lives, not just what happens on Sunday mornings. Our faith should shape how we live, serve, speak, and yes—even how we vote.

What does real leadership look like? What happens when leadership goes wrong?
The book of 2 Samuel tells the powerful story of King David, showing both the beauty of godly leadership and the devastating consequences of failure. Through real, historical events in David’s life, we see how leadership shapes families, communities, and even a nation. It gives us a promise of a coming King who will lead us perfectly on a throne that will never go away.

What does real leadership look like? The book of 1 Samuel takes us on a powerful journey through the lives of Samuel, Saul, and David to answer that question. In a time of chaos, God is searching for a leader after His own heart—one who is humble, obedient, and fully trusting in Him. This story isn’t just about ancient kings; it reveals the kind of leadership God desires and ultimately points us to the true King we all need.

What if God is working… even when you can’t see it?
The book of Ruth takes place during one of the darkest times in Israel’s history—the time of the Judges—when everything felt chaotic and broken. And yet, in the middle of loss, uncertainty, and everyday life, God was quietly at work bringing hope, redemption, and a future. Watch this short video to see how Ruth’s story connects to your life today.

What happens when we start doing what feels right instead of what God says is right?
The book of Judges gives us a raw, honest look at what happens when God’s people drift, compromise, and let culture shape their lives. It’s a powerful warning, but also a reminder that we need a true King to lead us.
Watch this quick overview and discover why what is best for you is living God’s way, not your way or the world’s way.

What is the book of Joshua really about?
It’s not just battles and conquest...it’s about a faithful God who keeps His promises, calls His people to courage,
and gives victory in the face of a broken culture.
If God was faithful then, He is faithful now.
Watch and be encouraged to stand strong in your faith.
