Pastor Bread Ministries derives from a nickname given to Pastor Jermaine Evans while working as a baker. Because he was also a pastor by calling the nickname stuck. He shepherded the people at his church and the people at his job. Now he serves as a cell pastor at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. In the same manner as before God has called him to minister to the people os his cell a
t Salem and to minister to the people online through this and other platforms. Information about his former church plant and mission is included below and while his work looks different Son Rise will always be a part of him. The name Son Rise is based on the passage found in Luke 24:5-7: And as they were afraid, and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. This name is designed to remind people that Jesus is alive and in control. It also letβs people know that our focus as a church is to be Christ like in all that we do. The foundation of the church itself can be found in Acts 1:8: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. We are going be a church whose focus is outside of the four walls of a church building. This church will attract the unsaved to Jesus Christ. It will also help them develop from new believer to true disciple of God. The church will also be involved in missions in the local community, the county, the state, the nation and foreign nations. We want to be a ministry that turns the world upside down. Contact Pastor or First Lady Evans for more details.
