In this Garden of Grace Devotion, Pastor Katie reflects on the challenge of truly casting our worries and anxieties onto God. Drawing from 1 Peter 5:7 and a powerful illustration about trusting the driver, she explores what it means to surrender our fears and rest in God's care. Where are you holding on too tightly, and what might happen if you trusted God with it?

Faith isn't proven when life is easy—it's revealed when life is hard.

Every follower of Christ will face challenges, setbacks, and seasons of uncertainty. But the trials we endure are not wasted. God uses them to strengthen our trust, deepen our character, and draw us closer to Him.

"Faith that survives trouble becomes faith that transforms lives."

When we remain anchored in Christ through life's storms, our testimony becomes a witness to others that God's grace is sufficient, His promises are true, and His love never fails.

Keep trusting. Keep believing. God is still at work.

Following Jesus was never promised to be easy—but it is always worth it.

Faith doesn't remove every challenge. In fact, Jesus told His disciples to expect resistance when they chose to live differently. Loving boldly, standing for truth, and serving others often comes with sacrifice.

Yet even in the midst of difficulty, God's love is greater.

When we choose Christ, we don't just receive comfort—we receive the strength to face life's trials with hope, courage, and grace. And through those moments, we have the opportunity to reflect His love to a world that desperately needs it.

Discipleship isn’t about having it all together—it’s about taking the next step with Jesus. 🌿

The beauty of following Christ isn’t found in perfection but in a heart that’s willing to learn, grow, and walk alongside others. No matter where you’re starting from, God can use your willingness to transform your life.

Who’s walking with you on your journey of faith? 💚

06/15/2026

Jesus didn’t just call people to believe—He called them to belong. ❤️

When Jesus looked at the crowds, He was moved with deep compassion and invited ordinary people from different backgrounds to follow Him together. Discipleship isn’t about having everything in common; it’s about having one thing in common: a willingness to follow Jesus.

Who are you walking alongside in your faith journey? 🙏

In this Garden of Grace Devotion, Pastor Katie reflects on Proverbs 18:21 and the incredible power of our words to bring life, encouragement, and hope. Through a heartfelt story about a simple act of kindness and a conversation that planted seeds of faith, she reminds us that we never truly know how God may use our words to impact someone’s life. This devotion encourages us to speak with grace, gratitude, and purpose, trusting that even the smallest words can help reflect God’s love and transform hearts.

God's love isn't reserved for the perfect.

Throughout the Gospels, Jesus continually made room at the table for those others overlooked, judged, or pushed aside. His ministry was marked by mercy, compassion, and radical welcome.

"God's love doesn't discriminate. God's table doesn't exclude. God's mercy welcomes everyone."

No matter your story, your past, or where you find yourself today, there is a place for you in God's grace.

Join us as we continue to discover the life-changing love of Christ and what it means to extend that same welcome to others.

Jesus didn't wait for people to get their lives together before sitting at the table with them.

He ate with tax collectors. He welcomed sinners. He showed mercy to those society had already written off.

When questioned about it, Jesus gave a powerful reminder:

"It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick."

The heart of the Gospel has never been about keeping the right people in and the wrong people out. It's about extending grace, mercy, and hope to those who need it most.

"I desire mercy, not sacrifice."

May we be known not just for what we believe, but for how we love.

In this Garden of Grace Devotion, Pastor Katie shares an unexpected encounter during a long run that became a powerful reminder: you never know who might be encouraged by your perseverance. Reflecting on Hebrews 12, this devotion explores faith, endurance, and the impact our everyday actions can have on others as we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and run the race set before us.
