Two years of worship, growing in God’s Word, building relationships, and watching God work in people’s lives. We’re thankful for everyone who has been part of this journey, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for the years ahead!

Parents, did you know?

Research from Harvard found that children raised in a religious or spiritual environment showed lower rates of some of the major risks young people face, including depression, drug use and risky sexual behavior. Regular attendance at religious services was associated with a 12% lower likelihood of high depressive symptoms and a 33% lower likelihood of illicit drug use.

Now, let me be clear.

Going to church doesn’t mean your kids will never struggle. Christian kids can still deal with depression, addiction, anxiety, temptation and bad choices.

But it does mean you are giving them something that matters.

A foundation.

Your kids are watching you.

They’re watching what you make time for.
They’re watching what matters to you.
They’re watching how you handle hard times.
They’re watching your faith.

That’s why at Restart Community Church, FAMILY is one of our core values.

We want to help families grow in their faith together. We want your kids to know Jesus, but we also want them to see what following Jesus looks like in you.

Parents, take your kids to church.

Not because church makes your family perfect.

Because your kids are learning faith by watching you.

🎶 Our October Theme Song: “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake

As we get ready for our new October sermon series, From Gratitude to Generosity, I wanted to share a song that really captures the heart behind what we’ll be talking about this month.
Our theme song is “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake, and there are a couple of things in this song that really connect with the message of our series.

One of the lines reminds us that all we have to offer God is a heart of praise. That’s a good reminder that gratitude isn’t about having the perfect words or being able to give God something impressive. It starts with recognizing what He has already done for us and responding with a thankful heart.

Another part of the song calls us to lift our voices and praise the Lord. I love that reminder because gratitude shouldn't stop with a feeling. It should change the way we live. When we recognize how much God has given us, it changes how we love others, how we serve, and how we give.

That’s the heart behind our series this October:
God gave. I receive. I give. God provides.

My prayer is that we would become people who don't just thank God with our words on Sunday, but show our gratitude through the way we live every day.

🍂 October Sermon Series: From Gratitude to Generosity

Have you ever stopped to think about how much God has given you? Sometimes we get so caught up in what we need, what we want, or what we wish we had that we forget to thank God for what He has already done.

This October at Restart Community Church, we’re talking about gratitude and generosity. Not just being thankful for what God has given us, but learning how that gratitude should shape the way we live, love, and give.

Here’s the heart of this series:
God gave. I receive. I give. God provides.

Everything we have comes from God. We receive His blessings with thankful hearts, share what He has entrusted to us, and trust Him to provide for what comes next.

Generosity isn't just about money. It's about our time, our gifts, our love, and how we care for the people around us.

My prayer is that we would become a church that doesn't just talk about being thankful, but lives it out every day.
