Everybody wants to be loved, accepted, secure, significant, and fulfilled. But, we resist God's love and attempt to find life apart from Him. What if the life you've been looking for isn't something you need to find? What if it's Someone you need to receive?

Life Verse Focus of the Week - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

This week thousands of backpacks will be filled across the county. Teachers will organize classrooms. Parents will wonder how quickly summer disappeared. Students will wonder who their teacher will be, whether they'll fit in, whether they'll make the team, whether this year will be easier—or harder—than the last.
*
But school isn't the only thing starting. Many of us are entering a new season—a new job, new responsibilities, new challenges, new diagnoses, new opportunities. The question isn't simply, "Are you ready for school?" It's, "Are you ready for whatever life brings?"

This Sunday (August 09) our life verse will interject a wonderful mindset for a brand new season. See you Sunday!
