We desire people to read this page and learn more about our church. For instance we want to tell people that: Licking Christian Church exists to help each individual have the closest possible relationship with Jesus Christ that they might know Him as Lord and Savior. We seek to honor God by worship in spirit and in truth and by daily Christian living. We desire that God's love be extended through

our actions and attitudes, both here and in the world around us. Licking Christian Church is part of a movement within Christianity that seeks to go back to the Bible for all that we believe and practice. We do not claim to be the only Christians but we do try to be "Christians Only". We have no earthly creeds, doctrines of men, or denominational structure or headquarters. We seek unity based upon God's Word as an avenue to promote the winning of the world to Christ. We are among the hundreds of independent local Christian Churches and Churches of Christ who are joined together by belief and practice, not by any formal denominational ties. We invite you to learn more about us and this brotherhood of believers who are free in Christ.

Tomorrow we start our new ADULT CLASS for adults past the age of our "college age" people, but younger than most of the people in the current Adult Class. Mark McLeod will be leading this new group. We also will have full-time Sunday School hour staffing of our 2's and 3's Class with Elizabeth Friend. Melissa Cechura takes over our Younger Elementary Class. As always, our Upper Elementary, Jr.-Sr. High, College Age, and original Adult Classes will welcome folks as well. Classes start at 10:10. We recommend arriving by 10:00 so everyone can get settled in and have a little time to interact with others.

If anyone who comes on Wednesday has alpha gal, or for any other reason can't eat beef, pork, or cheese, please tell a staff member as soon as you arrive. We have some chicken items we can microwave but we need to inform the cooks. If there are other food allergies we need to be aware of, please text or call Rick Mosher.

Our full Wednesday program gets underway tomorrow night, September 2, at 6:20 P.M. We start with a free meal! There are Bible Study groups for 4 yrs.- K, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, Grades 7-12 (lesson together, discussion groups separate), and Adults.

Telena Sellars asks us to pray for her grandmother, Darlena Young, who fell at the nursing home and hit her head. It caused a brain bleed so she was taken to Cox. She is stable, but will be kept overnight for observation.

We just received an emergency prayer request for Harley Shanks. She is being flown to Columbia due to serious complications in the aftermath of her recent brain surgery.

REMEMBER: Jr.-Sr. High have a cookout at the old park tomorrow at 6:30 to kick off youth activities for this school year. Elementary students and adults get under way, next Wednesday, September 2, at 6:20.
