While reading through the Bible together in our three-year series, we’ve tracked thousands of years of history from Creation all the way to the Gospel of John. So in the grand timeline of Scripture, America turning 250 means we’re still in the early chapters!

We pause with grateful hearts for the incredible gift we’ve been given: the freedom to openly gather, read God's Word, and worship with all that we are. May we use that freedom to walk in truth and reflect Christ’s love to the world around us.

We serve a God who is faithful through every generation. Let the truth of Psalm 90 steady our hearts and guide our praise today:

“Lord, you have been our dwelling place
throughout all generations.
Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”

Our CYH students are heading to their summer retreat, and our CYM students are going to camp! We're asking our church family to join us in praying for God to work in powerful ways.

Pray that our students would fall in love with Jesus, grow in genuine friendships with other believers, and become passionate about sharing the good news with others.

Juneteenth invites us to remember that slavery was never part of God’s design for His Kingdom. From the beginning, Scripture points toward freedom, dignity, and restoration for every person made in His image.

As we reflect today, we can grieve what was done, give thanks for and celebrate freedom, and recommit to living in a way that reflects the heart of Christ where oppression has no place and every life is seen as fully valued before God.

Join us THIS Sunday to celebrate and pray over the Dodd family during the 10:30AM service as they relocate to Texas in the coming weeks.

We are so grateful for the care, leadership and love Kate has poured into our church family as our Director of Care. Please pray for a smooth transition for the Dodds marked by God’s kindness, provision and nearness. We will miss them but are excited for them in this new season!
