Dear Supporters & Community
My name is Anthony Covington. I am a Co-Founder of B.A.T.S for Veterans and one of the founding members of New Beginnings Community Worship Center Inc. As some of you may know, Pastor Norman R. Graves, our esteemed founder, passed away over a year ago. Pastor Graves has built a close-knit family church where he always had a vision to help those in need within the community and worldwide. He was a passionate, dedicated, and firm leader. Considering his passing, the board has nominated and elected me to be the CEO of New Beginnings Community Worship Center Inc. and B.A.T.S for Veterans.
After months of deliberation, the board and I have decided to shift the focus away from providing transitional and permanent housing for veterans. While our mission has always been to support every part of the community and spread the word of God, we believe our efforts can be more impactful in other areas. We are excited to announce that we will now focus on providing collegiate scholarships and raising funds for various ministries, continuing our mission and relationship within Nairobi, Kenya. This change presents new opportunities for us to make a positive difference in the community, and we are optimistic about the impact we can make.
As we embark on this new chapter, we want to reassure you of our unwavering commitment to our mission. Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we strive to make a positive difference in the community.
