Out of everyone in the Bible Jesus told us to
"Remember Lot's wife." Luke 17:32
She was a disobedient wife.
She rebelled with Reluctance to leave her worldly life behind.
She becomes a symbol of all those who begin repentance but cling to their past sinful ways.
She had been delivered by God through holy angels... spared...
She had been given a clear command...
She disobeyed God and because of her attachment to the worldly life that she refused to let go of.
Thus she represents those rescued by God who turn back.
Looking Back = Divided Heart 💔
She left sin externally
But never left it internally
Divided loyalty becomes as barren as a pillar of salt.
“No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” — Luke 9:62
