Mount Pleasant Church - Kimesville Mt. Pleasant was founded in 1828 when services began in private homes, with the first independent sanctuary finished in 1855.

We are an independent church with Methodist roots.

This coming Sunday, after worship we will have a covered dish meal to honor Darrel Davis. This will be his last Sunday with us. The Church will be providing chicken pie so bring your favorite dish and let’s fellowship together.

We invite everyone to join us for the National Day of Prayer. The sanctuary will be open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for anyone who would like to come and pray at the altar.
Pastor Alex McFarland will be present from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and is available to pray with anyone during that time.
