There is an undercurrent of tension and violence in our world today, like never before.
It started before Israel was attacked on October 7. It has been “rumbling” for several years now.
There was a sort of “containment” to it until three years ago when the Democrats / Communist seized power in this nation. Since then, open borders, losing our strategic oil reserves, the collapse of other governments, and many other factors have all contributed to a definite unrest in our world.
It will “come to a head”.
It will “boil over”.
This is not a stable situation, and it will not remain stable. There will be a climax point that will not be pretty.
I was reminded this morning about the story of Queen Esther. When Mordecai came to her to to intercede for their people she hesitated. The Word of God does not really tell us why she hesitated. But, we can certainly surmise logically. She was afraid to go in to the king unbidden. Apparently their relationship had deteriorated, or there was something going on with him. Whatever the circumstances, she was not expecting to live if she approached him without his request.
She was so convinced of this.
S oconvinced she had her entire nation fast and pray for three days. Every single person.
“If I perish, I perish.”
Many prophetic voices in our nation have been saying for several years that there are going to be some deeply troubling events in our world. Many of these prophecies seem to come and go without incident. Some have seen that as a failure on the part of the prophetic I see it as God’s mercy and the power of prayer. Because when gods people pray things happen.
It’s not that we change God’s mind, although there is precedent for that in the Word of God, it’s that our prayers change the circumstances that are creating the event.
I believe, truly, like never before, we’re standing at that crossroads right now. We are standing as a civilization; as a nation; as a family and as individuals.
I believe there are strategic and extremely impactful things we can do now to stop disaster, or at least turn it “away” so the damage is minimalized, especially to our individual families.
“How in the world can we turn it away from our families?” You might be thinking.
The answer is in the scripture above. The answer is, really, very simple. The answer goes back to the basic principle of sowing and reaping. You give. Just as Queen Esther was warned if she did not “step up” to defend her nation (from the position of great prominence God had placed her in) her family would not be protected, so now, do we have an opportunity to “step up” from the positions and blessings God has given us to help protect, not just our nation, but the world and our families.
Our most powerful resource certainly is prayer. It is time to pray. It is time to get into the word of God, find scriptures of supernatural provision and pray them. Believe for them to happen over our nation and this world. If you are really not sure how to do that there are many great resources on the Internet today that can steer you in the right direction.
It’s also time to look at our financial situation and give the best gift we can. God may be telling you to stockpile canned goods, so that when the crisis comes, you can help. God may be telling you to give to ministries that aid in times of crisis, like the ones helping in Israel right now. The situation in Israel is certainly an extremely good place to put your resources. They don’t even have enough bullet proof vests for their military.
One thing you certainly cannot do is keep pretending like everything is “fine” and going along as normal.
It is not and even people in secular places of authority and power are beginning to agree there is a major crisis about to come to a climax.
But we can absolutely reverse or minimize Satan’s plans in this hour.
You can certainly minimize the amount of destruction and grief brought to your “house” by praying now!
Even as a young child, when I would read this scripture, those words would “haunt me”,
“you and your (father’s) house will perish!
Isn’t it also interesting that he did not say you and YOUR house. He did not refer back to her and her husband‘s “house“. Instead, he referred back to her house of origin, her house of faith, her spiritual house, her FATHER’s house.
She had a responsibility as a child of God that the Persians did not have. She had knowledge of God and his power they did not know. So she had a responsibility as a child of God to not only believe in God, but exert her authority in the spirit real to bring change for her entire nation.
One person can make a difference.
One person, in faith, can make a difference.
One person in faith can save a nation.
Will you be that one person? If for no other reason, it will throw a blanket of protection over those you love the most.
When trouble comes, you will be so glad you did… Or profoundly grieved you didn’t.
If you would like information on resources to give or pray, just let me know. I will share with you what I have.
