Liberty Church of Prayer

Liberty Church of Prayer A church committed to the Word, praise and worship, relationships, and the great commission Our youth meets on Wednesdays and in Sunday school on Sundays.

Liberty Church of Prayer is a nondenominational, Spirit-filled church. We worship freely, allowing the gifts of the Spirit to operate in our services. Our teaching and preaching is based on the Bible, God's unchanging word. Our purpose is centered around growing in four relationships: our relationship with God, with family, with the church, and with a lost world. We support missions, local and abr

oad, and see youth as the next generation to reach. Nursery is provided. We meet for prayer on Sundays, 9:00-10:00 am before service. Our service times are Sundays at 10:30 am and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.

Does your life need restoring? David said, “Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up” (Ps. 71:20). We sometimes find ourselves in a deep valley; this valley can be by our own doing, or maybe by the hand of another. Our future seems uncertain, hopeless, but one thing is for certain, God is in the restoration “business.” Turn to God, completely surrender your life to him, ask him to restore your life. If you’ve not done so, ask Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, accept the fact that he paid your sin debt. Humble yourself before God, and he will lift you up…Bro G

Jesus in the heart, the inward working of the Holy Spirit in man, the renewal of the mind through the Word of God, this is what changes us? Only then can we really love as God loves. It’s a beautiful thing, God in man, old things passed away, all things become new. Are you empty inside, are you longing for a real relationship with God, are you burdened by the weight of sin? Humble yourself, admit you are a sinner in need of a savior, accept the gift of salvation that comes only through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Turn away from sin, ask God to come in your heart, do it now. Go to church Sunday, tell the pastor what you did, get baptized, live for God…see you in heaven..Bro G

“and because lawlessness will increase so much, the love of many will grow cold” (Matt 24:12). The last days will be marked by lawlessness, iniquity, wickedness, and the “love” of many growing cold. Lawlessness (murder, r**e, violence, injustice, martyrdom, hatred toward one another, etc) harden’s the heart; our hearts become cold (a waning love toward one another). When we fail in Gods greatest command/law to love one another, we experience a loveless, godless society. God is love, when we cease to love, we are not his. My greatest stupefaction is not the world, it’s the lack of love I see in the church. It begs the question, how many in the church are born again Christian’s, does God really dwell in our hearts. You could not help but notice, one race showed up to Charlie Kirk’s memorial. It was a “first come, first attend” service. What a sad commentary for the world to witness. If the Apostle Paul attended the service, he would severely rebuke the American church, a church divided along the lines of race, truth, and love. Was the Apostle Paul white, was Stephen asian, was James hispanic, were the other martyred apostles a particular “race,” or were they Christians?God help us, we are a disgrace. Are we a godless, loveless church? We need to do a serious heart check, and see how much Jesus we really have…Bro G.

Was John the Baptist wrong for pointing out the sin of Herod in Mark 6:17,18? Herod was in a relationship with his brothers wife, Herodias. In the end, John was beheaded for pointed out Herodias and Herods sin. If you witness a murder, is it wrong to point it out? How about r**e, or theft, or molestation, or social injustice, or corruption, or drug trafficking, or an open border, or perversion, or marital unfaithfulness, or flaws in the education system, or government waste, or immorality etc? When a business is failing, when a sports team is in a slump, when a marriage is failing, when a neighborhood is unsafe, when crime is escalating, when the cost of living is sky rocketing, is it wrong to put our heads together, and search for a solution? If it’s wrong to address the above issues, then Charlie Kirk was wrong having open discussions about real life challenges…Bro G.

Our message this Sunday was, “Let’s Talk.” Dare to communicate, have a clash of ideas, talk about hard life issues that have been cancelled between couples, around the dinner table, in churches, in schools, in Hollywood, in sports, on talk shows, among leaders, politicians, and with other nations. Yes, we’ve become so politically correct, so fearful to mix it up, that truth has taken a back seat. I had a refreshing conversation with a “total stranger” today. We sat for an hour and a half, and discussed life issues. Fearless conversation, speaking the truth in love. We were not concerned about race, denomination, political party, political correctness, hurting each others little ole feelings, just speaking truth. It’s strange how gutless people have become, how they fear speaking the truth, yet we live in a nation where many are crying out for truth. What is truth, God Word is truth, give the world Gods Word. Here the church sits, too white, too black, too hispanic, too asian, too republican, and democrat to speak the truth. I was thinking today, if Timothy asked the apostle Paul about issues like gender, race, politics, scripture, and morality, would the great apostle back down? Is there “one” issue that would be out of bounds, not hardly. Let’s talk, let’s preach, let’s teach, let’s have a clash of truth and lies…let’s talk. Bro G.

“When people stop talking, that’s when violence happens” (Charlie Kirk). Have you ever had someone try to “silence” you by saying things like, “your not being politically correct, I’m “offended” by what your saying, church is not the place to discuss these matters, it pushes people away when you talk about “these” issues, don’t be so legalistic, that should never be said behind the pulpit, you don’t mix politics and Christianity, you run people off when you say these things, I know what the Bible says, but you need to back off etc.” Truth always has, and always will offend. In Charlie’s case, when the world could not defeat, out debate, and outthink the truth he spoke, they tried to kill it. Did this bullet kill Charlie, cause people to back off, silence truth? No, he like a seed has been put in the ground, and will bring forth much fruit. Take courage, speak the truth in love and humility, be a witness to those around you, and do not be “silenced.” Someone asked Charlie, what do you want to be remembered for, he responded, “I want to be remembered for my faith.” What do you/I want to be remembered for….Bro G.

Two brutal murders within a week, one on a subway train, the other within the “safety” of an older couples home. Wait, while making this post, I’m watching a news flash that Charlie Kirk got shot at Utah Valley University. I’ve personally witnessed his humble presentations of subjects he addresses. He adresses and backs these hard issues with Biblical evidence, common sence, and true life evidence. Today, while addressing the subject of transgender shootings, this giant of a man was shot…heartbreaking for his family, friends, associates, and his voice of truth. The death penality must come back in force, and must be carried out in months, not years of a criminals conviction. Ecc 8:11 states that “Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men are fully set to do evil.” We as a nation are there right now, many hearts are set on doing evil Bro G.
