Sunday school, Bro. Mark Atwood taught Be willing to follow God's plan.
ll Chronicles 18.
The message, Bro. Jonathan Oaks read and preached from
Isaiah 29; 13-15
Ezekiel 33; 30-33
Matthew 15; 7-9
Mark 7; 6-7
It's not about the sign above the church building door. There's only 1 denomination and that's The Children of God.
Don't follow people, follow the Lord, and know lip service isn't going to cut it. It's about faith and works. Not just works.
Bro. Jonathan ask us to read Colossians 3; 23-25 as we were dismissed.
Colossians 3:23 - And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 - Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25- But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

I've decided to keep this page.
There is just to much history to errase ❣️

Between the weather and sickness, I've not been going to many services lately. Although I watch a sister church on YouTube when that happens.
We currently don't have a Pastor.
Bro. Junior Holmes let us know that he could no longer pastor due to his health.
So when possible we have visiting preachers that comes, Which are most appreciated.

Bro. Junior couldn't be with us today.
Bro. Mark taught us an extended Bible Study lesson from Proverbs 16; 31 - 17; 23.
Sunday November 17th
Bro. Joe read the Devotion from John 14; 1-16.
Bro. Mark taught from l Chronicles 7 for Sunday school.
Bro. Junior's message was brung from Psalm 40; 1-5. David was a man after God's own heart. The Lord was with David. Nothing is more important than your soul. David was a special prophet of the Lord's.
Sunday November 24
Bro. Joe read the Devotion from Numbers 20; 1 - 12.
Bro. Mark taught from l Chronicles 8 for Sunday school.
Bro. Junior's message was brung from Luke 19; 1-10. He took his main thought from verse 10.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Notes...
We have discontinued our Wednesday Night Bible Study at Pleasant Grove until spring of 2025.
Also the winter months are usually filled with cancelations and closings, so I (Ethyleen) will try to be on that as quickly as I can.

Bro. Junior's message was from 3; 1 - 12. John baptized Jesus.
We had a Pastor and Wife Appreciation Dinner after service.
We are so thankful for Bro. Junior and Sis. Ann. and for all that they do. We love you both. ❤️
Then after the dinner we had a Baptism at the creek. Bro. Steve Allen was baptized.
October 27th Sunday

There have been a lot of prayer requests and I'd be afraid I would miss someone so I'll not list them. Our Lord knows who we are and all our needs.
We serve a Wonderful God to where if we even mumble a prayer in our hearts, He understands us.

Childrens class.. Sis. Ethyleen taught on What and Who are the Angels and Cherubims? Part 1.
The Message.. Bro. Junior preached from John 3; 1-21
Nicodemus was a Pharisee.
We can't do anything without the Lord.
The only way to make it to heaven is by and through Jesus Christ.
3 we must have is, God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Don't ever get discouraged of serving the Lord. If you turn and look to God in everything... You'll be alright.
It doesn't matter what race, creed, nationality or color we are, we all can come to Jesus and be born again.
Water doesn't wash sin away, the blood of Jesus is the only thing that washes sin away.
Look unto the Lord!
August 14
Wednesday night Bible Study
Bro. Mark taught from Job 24.
We ( people) think we're getting by with things of evil here on earth, but it will catch up with us, if we don't come to repentance.
God loves all our souls and is waiting for us to come to salvation.
