When you truly commit to following God, don't be surprised when the world starts calling you a fanatic!

People may not understand your commitment, your sacrifices, or why you refuse to compromise your convictions. They may think you're taking your faith too seriously.

But what the world calls fanaticism, God may simply call obedience.

In Sunday's message, Pastor Donald Scott reminded us that following Jesus isn't always convenient, comfortable, or popular. True obedience will cost you something, and sometimes that cost is the approval of others.

You weren't called to please everyone. You were called to obey God!

Sometimes following God requires sacrifice. Sometimes it means stepping out in faith when we don't understand His plan. But obedience means trusting that God's ways are always greater than our own.

Jesus didn't just teach obedience. He demonstrated it!

Philippians 2:8 reminds us that Jesus humbled Himself and became obedient even to the point of death on the cross.

In Sunday's message, Pastor Donald Scott reminded us that true obedience to God comes with a cost. It isn't always easy, comfortable, or convenient. But following God means surrendering our own will and trusting His plan.

If Jesus was willing to humble Himself and obey the Father even unto death, how much more should we be willing to surrender our lives to Him?

Obedience isn't about doing what's easy. It's about doing what God has called us to do!

We often tell ourselves, "I'll get right with God later." But the truth is, tomorrow is never promised.
