School is back in full swing and we are thankful for all of the opportunities we have had to minister to our community schools.
Last Monday we began our week with providing breakfast to the Amite County School District. We also had the opportunity to drop off the backpacks and school supplies that were collected during our Kids Missions Night. Thank you to everyone who provided food, helped cook and serve, and donated supplies. Thank you to Dr. Bradford for giving us this opportunity.
On Wednesday, our kids had their Back to School Bash and the adults had their prayer walk at ASC.
On Thursday, we had the opportunity to provide lunch to the teachers and staff at Amite School Center. Thank you to everyone who provided dishes, helped transport and serve the food.
Sunday night was our Blessing of the Teams Community Event and what a blessing it was. Thank you to Neal Smith, ACSD, and Josh Bass ,ASC, for offering words of encouragement and prayer over the students athletes. Pray for the student athletes as they begin their sports seasons. Thank you to everyone who helped with our fellowship meal after.
Please continue to be in prayer for the schools in our community. Pray for the teachers, staff, administration, and students. Pray the Lord blesses their school year and gives a hedge of protection of each of them.
