We are a Christ-centered church with a mission to reach the world with the Gospel of salvation through repentance from sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our goal as a scriptural church to maintain an atmosphere of sound and solid biblical preaching and teaching, encouraging and edifying discipleship and fellowship, and reverent worship of God in spirit and in truth. We are convinced by
the New Testament that the Lord Jesus Christ established the local church as the means by which the Gospel is to be brought to the lost, the context in which those who repent of their sins and believe on Christ are to be baptized and added to the number of that church, and the framework within which Christians are to grow in their knowledge and practice of the truths of the Word of God. Knowing that each scriptural local church is the body of Christ, we stress that Jesus Christ must have the preeminence as its head. When you visit Grace Independent Baptist Church, you can expect to hear the preaching and teaching of the Bible as it has been given and preserved for us by God and accurately translated in the King James Bible. We hold to the Authorized King James Version as not merely a preference among different versions, but as the authentic English translation of the original texts of the Masoretic Hebrew Manuscripts of the Old Testament and the Textus Receptus or Received Text of the original Greek New Testament. Other modern English versions are based on manuscripts assembled just two centuries ago that contain faults and omissions that distort and misrepresent the message of God's inspired Word. God made a promise that His Word would be kept for every generation. That authentic stream of manuscripts, given by inspiration of God, is the underlying text of the Authorized King James Version. The music in our services is conservative and focused upon glorifying God and conveying a biblical message. We emphasize genuineness and scriptural soundness in both the message and the melody of music in church and make no attempt by it to entertain an audience. Furthermore, we believe that the command of Scripture to not be conformed to this present world applies as much to music as it does to anything else. We therefore reject contemporary Christian music/Christian rock in our services and the whole modernistic approach of compromising with the world in order to win the world to Christ. We love visitors! You are warmly invited to attend church with us at the next opportunity. All are welcome to attend our services. Our church family encompasses people of all ages and provides a place for you to come to know Christ, grow in grace and the knowledge of His Word, and be encouraged by the support of a loving family. We hope that you will join us in the house of the Lord at our next service! Pastor Jason P. Frank
