Yesterday’s groundbreaking fit so well with Reggie’s sermon from 2 Peter 1:1-4. Peter reminds us that we have all received the same precious faith. So instead of a few people breaking ground while everyone watched, we all took turns putting a shovel into that cross-shaped mound.

One faith. One King. One church.

And that is what we are building together: standing firm in allegiance to Jesus, reclaiming sacred space from the darkness by leading people to our King, and doing life together as his people.

Today, we’re coming together to break ground and fellowship as a church family! What a blessing it is to celebrate this moment together and look forward to all that God has in store.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to gather, share in fellowship, pray over this new chapter, and celebrate God’s faithfulness.
