We Don’t Serve An “It” by Dr. Charles Redwine (10-25-2026)

Philippians 3:8-11
1 John 3:1-3

Jesus: Fully God

1. Authority to forgive sins.
2. Authority to recreate humanity: restore the image of God in humanity
3. Atoning sacrifice on the cross efficacious for all.
4. Restores us relationally with God.

Jesus: Fully Human
1. Restores and heals our souls of corruption.
2. The second Adam who did not fail, but lived a life of perfect faith and obedience to
the Father.
3. Jesus paves the way for us to live like Him, be fully human.

Jesus told His disciples expect to be left out on account of Him, because:

1. Going without means the Kingdom is yours.
2. Revealing God’s will or purpose brings rejection.
3. Disciples who teach false truths will be left out later.
