June is Fatherhood Month at Vintage Church Liberty Hill
Most of what's broken in our culture could be healed if men became what Scripture calls them to be.
When a father steps fully into his identity and calling, everything around him works better. Marriages are strengthened. Kids grow up knowing what it looks like to love God and lead a home. Generational sin and bad habits can be broken through one obedient man.
This June, we're honoring fathers at Vintage Church Liberty Hill, and we're calling them higher at the same time. We're asking every man to take back the month and rededicate himself to leading his home well.
Ephesians 6:4 says: “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”
We are calling our men to commit to four things all month:
1. Be in church every service.
2. Love your wife the way Christ loved the church.
3. Raise your children in the Lord.
4. Choose every day who you will serve.
None of this requires a man to be perfect. It requires a man to be focused, present, and consistent.
Men, this is the work. This is the challenge. Embrace it, and lead well.
