🎶✨ WHAT A TIME IN ZION TODAY! ✨🎶

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude as we pause to thank our very own Evangelist Mary Ann Kelly for delivering a powerful and inspiring Word from God today.
Sermon Subject:"Keep On Singing"
Scripture: Psalm 34

Psalm 34 is a beautiful reminder that no matter what seasons we face in life, God is always worthy of our praise. Even through trials, disappointments, victories, and celebrations, we are called to keep singing, keep praising, and keep trusting God. Our song becomes a testimony of His faithfulness and a declaration that God is still in control.

Today was also a precious time of reflection as we honored the rich legacy of the New Zion Senior Choir. So many wonderful memories were shared as we remembered the training, guidance, and spiritual upbringing provided by those faithful saints who came before us. They laid a strong foundation of faith, service, sacrifice, and commitment that continues to bless New Zion today.

Though many of them have gone on to be with the Lord, they will never be forgotten. Their voices may be silent, but their impact still echoes throughout our church family.

We miss those years of loving discipline that shaped us. We miss the unwavering dedication to ministry. We miss the commitment to excellence and the remarkable ability to work together as one unified body despite individual differences and challenges. Their lives demonstrated what it means to serve God faithfully and wholeheartedly.

Today reminded us that we stand on the shoulders of giants. Because of their prayers, their faithfulness, their sacrifices, and their songs, New Zion continues to move forward in ministry!

We want to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you to Rev. Tavares Vance of Winston-Salem for delivering a powerful, timely Sunday morning message that truly moved the house.

Sermon Title: "IF YOU ONLY KNEW THE REASON WHY I PRAISE HIM LIKE I DO" - Scripture: Psalms 34:1 — "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Rev. Vance truly broke down what it means to have an authentic, unshakeable praise.

"I will bless the Lord..." – Praise is a personal choice and an act of the will. It doesn't depend on how we feel; it depends on who He is.
"...at all times..." – This means in the valley and on the mountaintop. Our praise shouldn't look like our problems; it should look like our protection!
"...continually be in my mouth." – When you know what God has brought you out of, what He’s healed you from, and how He’s kept you, your praise becomes a permanent fixture. People might see you praising and not understand it, but if they only knew your story, they’d understand your glory!

Thank you, Rev. Vance, for allowing God to use you so mightily to remind us of the power of our testimony and our worship!

➡️ Join us next Sunday morning! We can't wait to welcome you home.

Today, we would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Rev. Antonio Pittman for delivering such a powerful and convicting Word from God at New Zion today! His message, “WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT QUITTING ON GOD” was rooted in Proverbs 3:5 and Jeremiah 20:7-9, and it truly stirred hearts and spirits throughout the sanctuary.

Proverbs 3:5 reminds us to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”Even when life becomes difficult, confusing, or overwhelming, God calls us to trust Him beyond what we can see or understand. Sometimes we may feel tired, discouraged, or ready to give up, but God is still working behind the scenes.

Jeremiah 20:7-9 showed us the struggle of the prophet Jeremiah, who became frustrated and weary from the hardships he faced while serving God. Yet even when he thought about walking away, he declared that God’s Word was like *fire shut up in his bones* and he could not hold it in. What a reminder that when God has placed a calling, purpose, and fire inside of you, quitting is not the answer!

A mighty move of God swept through New Zion today as this Word challenged us to keep trusting, keep praying, and keep pressing forward even in difficult seasons. We praise God for the encouragement, conviction, and renewal that took place in the house today!

What a blessed Mother's Day we had at New Zion Baptist Church today as we were once again graced with a mighty Word from God through Rev. Nathaniel Adkins!

Scripture References: Luke 5:16-19 & Hebrews 11:1
“CAN YOU SEE IT OR DO YOU KNOW IT?”

Rev. Adkins challenged us to examine the difference between simply seeing with our natural eyes and truly knowing through faith. Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Sometimes God will place promises, purpose, and possibilities in our spirit long before we can physically see them manifest.

In Luke 5:16-19, the men carrying the paralyzed man did not allow obstacles to stop them. Even when they could not immediately “see” a way in, they *knew* Jesus was the answer. Their faith, determination, and belief caused them to push beyond barriers until breakthrough came.

What a timely message for this season! There may be situations in our lives where we cannot yet SEE the outcome, but through faith we must KNOW that God is still working behind the scenes. Faith is trusting God even when the picture is unclear. Faith is believing that healing, restoration, provision, and victory are already on the way!

And a special thanks for the Mother's Day gifts from the Men of the church! They were beautiful!

We invite you to come worship and fellowship with us at Zion — where the Spirit of the Lord continues to move! ❤️🙏🏽
