Genesis Kardia

Genesis Kardia Genesis Kardia is a worship service designed for families and young people with disabilities. We meet on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, July 27 2:00 - 4:00 pm Swimming/Pizza Party at Gateway YMCA on Main Street

Sunday, August 10 10:00am The Summit Church at the Ballpark - meeting at the Winston-Salem BB&T field for a church service ($1 concessions)

Sunday, September 7 at 4:00 pm Kickoff Cookout at Sunrise UMC

Sunday, September 14 at 4:00 pm Begin Weekly Regular Service

Last week our lesson was on Gratitude and we noticed things around us that make us feel good, warm, safe, or happy. Tonight we looked at Generosity. 1 John 3:18 says, “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” Gratitude is like taking a deep breath in: if you hold it forever, you’ll burst. Generosity is breathing out. It turns a feeling into action. So tonight we put together bags to be handed out to the seniors at Bermuda Commons that we will be going and sharing our talents of the gift of music in a couple of weeks.
