Our Wonder Wednesday Summer Series came to an end tonight with a Pool & Pizza Party! There were a lot of laughs, a lot of splashing, and a lot of fun!

We will start back with our weekly Wonder Wednesday on September 9th from 5:30-7:00 pm at MUMC. If you have a child in preschool through 5th grade we’d love for them to join us!

This week for our Wonder Wednesday: Summer Series we had a blast with “Family Field Day!” Everyone participated in water balloon tosses 🎈 , spoon relays 🥄 , a lively game of kickball 💥, and then finished off with ice cream sandwiches, popsicles, and fellowship on the playground! 🛝 I’m still not sure who was more competitive — the kids or their parents 😆 🏆

VBS items: we had a few items left behind from VBS, including some crafts. If these belong to your child and they would like to retrieve them, please stop by the church anytime this week Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am-2:00 pm. Any crafts left at the end of the week will be discarded. There was also a towel, a blue shirt, and a pair of black shorts left behind after the family night.

The MUMC Youth Group aka "The Followers" had a wonderful time at the Society of St. Andrew Harvest of Hope gleaning event! We learned, we played, we worked hard, we prayed! It was great!

VBS 2026: Snowball Mountain Challenge at Macedonia Southmont is in the books! We had a wonderful week learning how to find our strength in God through Bible stories, music, art, recreation, and much more, all while focusing on our mountain motto: I can do all things through him who strengthens me. —Philippians 4:13

Thank you to all of the families who shared their children with us, to all of the volunteers who gave their time to make it all happen, and to Kona Ice of Salisbury and Johnson Inflatable’s for helping to make our Friday night Family Night a success!

Wacky Water Night was a BLAST! 💦 We played “Raindrop Relay” (based on Noah’s Ark), Seed-Seed-Grow (based on the Parable of the Growing Seed), “Dodge the Stone” (based on David & Goliath), and ended our time with a water blaster war! Pastor Carol joined in on all the fun, as well.

Macedonia Southmont will be holding our annual Vacation Bible School on July 20th-24th. This year's theme, "Snowball Mountain Challenge," is based on the Bible verse Philipians 4:13, where children will learn that God is the source of their strength!
You can visit the link below to pre-register your child (preschool through 5th grade, based on the grade they will enter in August). We can't wait to see everyone in a few weeks!
