Grace Presbyterian Justice Ministry

Grace Presbyterian Justice Ministry The mission of the Grace Presbyterian Justice Ministry is to humbly respond to God’s call (Micah 6:8) for His people to do justice.

The ministry arm of Grace Presbyterian Church-PCA of Lexington, VA seeking to glorify God by doing justice alongside local and international justice organizations Our goal is to prayerfully seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to direct us into action. Working with reliable organizations, groups, churches, or other avenues that create awareness and combat human rights atrocities, we will glorify o

ur Lord by diligently persevering in doing what is good and kind and sharing the light of Christ in the process. With that mission in mind Grace Presbyterian hosts monthly prayer gatherings in which we lift up the global and local needs for justice that are being addressed by ministries like the International Justice Mission and Street Ransom. Grace Justice ministry has also hosted and participated in awareness efforts such as IJM's Run for Justice and, more locally, Street Ransom's annual Night of Hope. For more information about IJM and the work they are doing around the world, see ijm.org/about-ijm. Street Ransom is an organization based in Roanoke, VA empowering the lives of those vulnerable to and affected by sexual exploitation. They do this by raising awareness through preventative educational efforts, professional trainings, and most recently through the Lampstand, their safe home where child female survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking are provided the holistic, trauma-informed support they deserve. See streetransom.com for more information.

“No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.” -Matthew 5:15

The Night of Hope was a beautiful success!

THANK YOU to all who came out to Grace or tuned in online for your prayers and support for this ministry providing the hope and healing of Christ to young survivors of exploitation in our area. Through all the churches supporting this event, more than $300,00 was raised for these girls, and we hope the increased awareness will raise up more prayer warriors as we join the Lord in his ministry of mercy to the oppressed. Praise the Lord for his blessing on this ministry!
