Children’s Sunday School is back this Sunday, August 23! 🎉

Join us for worship at 10:30. After the Children's Message, the kids head to Sunday School with Ms. Michelle and all our wonderful volunteers.

This Fall, children will explore families in the Bible, learn how today's faith families care for children as they grow, build loving relationships, and find out what it means to be part of God's family!

We hope you will join us this week at Maxwell Street!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve hired our new Campus Ministry Director, Bailey Liebhart!

Bailey is new to the Bluegrass Region and excited to join the Maxwell Street community and serve the university communities of Lexington. They received their Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2025 and completed an ACPE chaplaincy residency with Yale New Haven Health earlier this year. Bailey is currently working toward ordination in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and expects to complete APC board certification next year.

Bailey works full-time as a behavioral health chaplain at Eastern State Hospital, with particular interests in trauma-informed spiritual care, epistemology, and humanist applications of q***r theory.

When they’re not working or writing essays, Bailey enjoys hiking, spending time with the local LGBTQ+ community, and walking their dogs, Hazel and Rufous.

Please join us in welcoming Bailey to Maxwell Street!
