One of the quirky things about Apostles is that all our logos currently coexist in a kind of harmonious incongruity.
☕ The coffee mug features our founding logo.
📖 Our worship guide has our current logo.
⛪ And our sign out front still carries one of the “middle era” logo iterations between the two!
As we celebrate 30 years of God’s faithfulness, one of my big goals for this next season is to refresh and unify our church’s branding across our signage, website, worship guides, and printed materials — not by abandoning our history, but by drawing from it thoughtfully.
I’d love your help!
1️⃣ Do you know of any Anglican churches with especially beautiful branding or design work?
I’m drawn to churches that blend modern design excellence with ancient, liturgical sensibilities.
2️⃣ Do you know any graphic designers who would be excited about a project like this?
I’d love to work with someone who could thoughtfully draw from our church’s design history, the aesthetic of the 2019 Book of Common Prayer, and the broader Anglican tradition to help us build a visual identity that could serve Apostles well for the next decade and beyond.
Feel free to drop names, links, or churches in the comments or send me a message. I'm looking forward to hearing more!
Blessings, Fr. Samuel Hood
