In Matthew 4, Jesus is led into the wilderness and tempted by Satan. What’s really happening here is more than just a personal test- it’s a clash of two kingdoms. The kingdom of God versus the kingdom of darkness. And notice how the battle is fought: not with swords or armies, but with Scripture. Satan tries to twist God’s Word out of context, but Jesus stands firm by knowing and applying it rightly.

This reminds us that we’re living in the same tension today. Every temptation, every compromise, every moment of doubt is part of this greater battle. The enemy still whispers half-truths, but victory comes when we know the whole truth.

That’s why reading your Bible in context matters. It’s not just about memorizing verses- it’s about understanding God’s heart, His story, and His kingdom. When we’re grounded in the Word, we can resist the lies and walk confidently in the light.
