Our 11:00 AM service is available via livestream each Sunday at downtownlex.org/live — as well as on Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube. At each service, we come together to hear God’s word, to offer prayers and praise, and to be changed. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month, and all are welcome to participate. d is part of our legacy dating back to 1789. There is wonderful singing using hymns and anthems, meaningful liturgy, inspiring preaching, and warm, vibrant music. We are in the heart and "hub" of downtown Lexington, and we often say we are "downtown for good" meaning we are here to stay as an urban, historic "city on a hill" and we are here for the "good we can do" close to the hurting humanity of the streets. Our sanctuary truly is a sanctuary where we find rest, peace, time for prayer—but also to move toward being with one another and then out into the world.
