His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’ (Mt: 25:33)
With gratitude to Almighty God, we share that our brother, Father Ray Stratman, on Saturday, November 21, has been called back to our Heavenly Father. Father Ray was a priest of the Diocese of Lexington who was generous in his service and support of many who have journeyed through the Cursillo Movement. For those who were blessed to have him as a spiritual advisor during the Cursillo weekends, we will have many memories of his joy and love that he shared so generously over many weekends and years involved in the Cursillo Movement. Let us entrust him to Almighty God with our prayers: Lord Jesus, our Redeemer, you willingly gave yourself up to death so that all people might be saved and pass from death into a new life. Blessings for this Thanksgiving season
Look with love on your people who mourn and pray for their dead brother, Father Ray. Lord Jesus, you alone are holy and compassionate: forgive Father Ray his sins. By dying you opened the gates of life for those who believe in you; do not let our brother be departed from you, but by your glorious power give him light, joy and peace in heaven where you live for ever and ever. Amen
Funeral arrangements for Father Ray have not been finalized at this time. We ask that you keep Father Ray and his family in your prayers.
Peace and DeColores,
