❤️ Happy 12th Pastoral Anniversary to my husband, my pastor, and my favorite co-laborer in ministry, Pastor Robert C Hill, Jr! ❤️

There are so many things I could say about this man, but one thing I know for sure is that he has a true servant’s heart! He loves God, loves God’s people, and genuinely desires to see others grow and flourish in their gifts and callings.

One of the things I appreciate most about Rob is how he has always embraced and encouraged the gifts God has placed inside of me. He has been one of my greatest supporters, constantly reminding me to walk boldly in my calling and use what God has given me. He understands that ministry is about serving God faithfully, and I am grateful to have a husband and pastor who genuinely celebrates what God is doing in and through my life.

Let me give you an example of the kind of man he is. TODAY, of all days, we are celebrating our 12th Pastoral Anniversary with services at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Well, I was asked to preach at another church this morning. You would think he might say, “Mel, it’s OUR anniversary!” 😂 But nope! His response was basically, “Go preach, and come back for the afternoon service!”

And THAT is Rob! ❤️

I have friends who are women in ministry, and through conversations with them, I know that kind of support from a spouse is not always a given. So I don’t take it lightly, and I certainly don’t take it for granted.

This thing called ministry is NOT easy! There are sacrifices, disappointments, long days, difficult decisions, and moments when you wonder if you’re making a difference. But having a husband who is also a pastor, who understands the weight of the calling, who supports you, prays with you, encourages you, and stands beside you makes all the difference in the world.

Rob, thank you for always believing in me, encouraging me, and giving me the freedom to grow in my calling. Thank you for showing me what it means to lead with humility, love, and a servant’s heart. I am grateful that God has allowed us to walk this journey of life and ministry together.

Lexington Christian Fellowship Church is blessed to have you as their pastor, and I am beyond blessed to have you as my husband and partner in ministry.

Happy 12th Pastoral Anniversary, Babe! I love you, I honor you, and I thank God for the privilege of doing life AND ministry with you.

Here’s to continuing to serve God, love His people, and walk faithfully in the assignments He has given us! ❤️🙌🏾

This Sunday, October 11th, Lexington Christian Fellowship Church will celebrate our 12th Pastoral Anniversary, and we would love for our family, friends, and community to come celebrate with us!

For 12 years, God has allowed us the privilege of serving, loving, leading, praying, teaching, and walking alongside His people. We are grateful for every lesson, every testimony, every challenge, every victory—and most of all, for God’s faithfulness through it all.
