We are now partnering with the United Way of Davidson County to collect supplies for Western North Carolina. All supplies collected will be delivered to NC communities who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. Below is a list of items those communities are in need of. This is by no means an exhaustive list - anything helps! Supplies can be dropped off at any Davidson County Library location.

- Prepackaged food
- Bottled Water
- Pet food (Cat and Dog)
- Baby Food/Formula
- Gatorade
- First aid supplies/OTC Pain relievers (Adult and Children)
- Personal Hygiene Items (Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, depends, diapers, wet wipes, socks (kid and adult), hand sanitizer, etc. )
- Flashlights and Batteries
- Blankets
- Phone Chargers/Portable Power Banks
- Children’s Items (Toys, Games, Books, Coloring Books, Crayons, etc.)
- Pet Supplies (Leashes, Collars, Carriers, etc.)
- Charcoal
- Clothes and Shoes (Adult and Children)
- Paper Products/Plastic Utensils
- Work Gloves (All Sizes)

In response to the devastating aftermath following Hurricane Helene, the following items will be collected during tomorrow's National Night Out for our neighbors in Western North Carolina:

-water
-non-perishable foods
-sanitary supplies (hand sanitizer, wipes, toiletries)
-baby formula
-diapers
