From Ray: It is with a heavy heart that I let you know our dedicated church secretary, Sherri Salinas, was killed in a car wreck yesterday.

Monday morning started with a gas leak at the church. The city ordered our church to close, which meant the Children’s Center had to close and be evacuated. Sherri stayed until all of the children had been picked up. Because of the church closing, she was on her way home early when the accident happened.

We are all in a state of shock over this news. Our prayers are with Joey and all of Sherri’s family. She loved her family and she loved our church.

At this time no arrangements have been made, but I will let you know when they are.

Let us all pray for wisdom and guidance as a church as we lift up Sherri’s family.
