Hey there, High School students!

We encourage you to join us tonight for our second week of Hook, Line, and Sinker. Pastor Trevor has prepared a powerful message about “The Bite.”

Tonight we will gain a deeper understanding of the difference between temptation and sin, and how unchecked desires grow into destructive choices.

We will see you tonight from 6pm-8pm!

Don’t forget we are still meeting tonight!

Pastor Trevor will teach us this week in our series Hook, Line, and Sinker. Tonight’s topic is the bite.

The uncomfortable truth James tells us is that temptation hooks us because something in us is already hungry for it. This week names the internal anatomy of sin — how an unchecked desire quietly grows until it produces death — and draws a clear line between being tempted (not a sin) and letting that temptation take root (dangerous). Proverbs 4:23 lands as the practical anchor: what you protect determines what you become.
