Happy Monday!
What are you carrying today? Pain? Shame? Frustration? Discouragement?
Is it heavy? I read a book once with my students that talked about carrying fear and embarrassment. It talks about how, when we put them down, we walk lighter. It talks about picking them up later and they are smaller. However, this book missed a step- our burdens don't get lighter simply because we drop them- they lighten at the feet of Jesus.
There is an old hymn that says simply, "Leave it there, take your burden to the Lord and leave it there." So, what are you carrying? You don't need to carry it anymore and you definitely don't need to carry it alone!

Happy Monday! Are you feeling blessed today? Let's talk about reflections.

1 Corinthians 13:12 says, "For pnow we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face." Do you ever get ready in the morning and try to look in the bathroom mirror right after a shower? It's blurry, unclear. We see just a little bit in that mirror. That is how we are currently looking at God. It's foggy, distorted. We see a little bit of Him. But that little bit is so overwhelming. It's beautiful and perfect and we can never understand it. One day we will. What a day that will be.

Think about the bit of God you've seen this side of Heaven. There is so much more to come!
