Wellington Church

Wellington Church We are a church on a mission to call all people to full devotion to Jesus Christ. God is our supreme treasure and we exist to glorify Him above all things.

We strive to connect people with Jesus Christ for their joy and the glory of God. Wellington is a non-denominational, Christ-centered Church committed to teaching and preaching God's word expositionally (verse by verse) that all men might come to know and enjoy His good, pleasing and perfect will.

The Wellington student and family ministry is starting something new called the Wellington Athletic Ministry to build community within our congregation and reach out to the surrounding community, using sports and fitness as a tool for discipleship.

This ministry is still in the concept stage as we pray and seek the LORD for guidance on the specifics. For now, we’re just gauging interest. We’re thinking of launching this ministry with a football and/or basketball camp over the summer. If you’re a student interested in participating in something like that, or an adult who would like to help coach, train, or facilitate, please scan the QR code or click the link below to take a short survey to let us know who you are or how you can help.

⚠️🌨️⚠️
All Sunday services are cancelled for tomorrow. However, the pastors will livestream the worship service at 10:30am. We invite you to join us for worship through the app, YouTube, or Facebook. Pastor Wayne will continue in James 4:5-10 on "Dying to Self." Though we are apart physically we look forward to worshipping together.

Something to meditate on as we prepare our hearts for worship:

As we experience these weather events that slow life down, it’s a good moment to pause and reflect—like David in Psalm 51. In his confession, David pleaded with God, “Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.” He longed to be cleansed and made pure again.

The hyssop branch, dipped in blood and sprinkled, was a picture of God’s forgiveness and cleansing. Today, we know that true cleansing comes through Christ and His sacrifice on our behalf. Because of Him, we are forgiven, washed, and made new.

Praise be to God.

Yes, we are indeed doing a Christmas Eve service! 😇

Join us this Christmas Eve at 4:00 pm for a reflective worship service centered on song and Scripture as we celebrate the incarnation of Christ and the theme of Heavenly Peace.

On this holy night, we will gather in a quiet, reverent setting to hear the story of God’s promise fulfilled. Through the prophets and the Gospel of Luke, we will proclaim the good news announced by the angels: peace on earth through the Word made flesh. Interwoven with Scripture, we will sing beloved Christmas carols that reflect God’s glory, His nearness, and the peace found in Christ alone.

This is a family-friendly service designed for worship, reflection, and praise. All are welcome. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend, a neighbor, or someone who needs to hear the gospel of peace! Come and rejoice in the good news of great joy—Jesus Christ has come, and in Him, heaven’s peace is given to us.

Today, they released Episode 6, entitled "Unsearchable."

On this episode, Kevin and Brandon discuss God's eternally self-existing and self-sustaining glory as described in Isaiah 40:28. You can listen on the Wellington Church mobile app or through any podcast streaming service. Search, "Getting To Know God."

The Bible teaches that God’s ways are FAR beyond our ability to understand. So, how do we come to understand God? How much do we need to read the Bible? How much should we study? Will pastors and preachers teach us everything we need to know to understand who God is? Join us for this episode of Ge...
