As you may know, today is Giving Tuesday, but first, we want to share some pictures from VMI Ring Figure. Every year, 2nd Class cadets receive their class rings as a symbol of the challenges and victories they've experienced during their time at the Institute. For the past three years, the class has asked local chaplains to participate in a blessing of the rings. This year was a deeply meaningful ceremony, with a prayer offered by Cadet Heather Crum ('23), reflection by Kevin Riedel, Director of Catholic Campus Ministry, and a Blessing of the Rings by local pastor Fr. Migac. This moment in the cadets' lives had additional significance because of the role Catholic Campus Ministry has had in their cadetship: from Rat Sunday, to Host Families, the Rats' Nest, Newman Club, annual retreats, Sunday evening Mass and dinner, and Saturday service days, Faith has had an important role in the formation of our future graduates. All of those things are possible because of your prayers and financial support. So, we invite you to celebrate this moment with our cadets, and consider lending your continued support towards this critical ministry that helps shape cadets and students in the Faith.
