I am SO incredibly proud of our acolytes! ❤️

These lovely young girls did such a wonderful job, and it has been such a joy to watch them serve, learn, grow, and take on this important role in the life of our church. They represented our church beautifully, and I couldn’t be more grateful for each one of them!

And a BIG shout-out to their parents! Thank you for encouraging them, supporting them, getting them here, and helping them understand the importance of serving in the church. Your investment in them matters more than you know!

Thank you, girls, for serving Jesus and our church so faithfully! We are so proud of you! ❤️

🍂🎃 What a wonderful Fall Festival! 🎃🍂

We are so thankful for everyone who worked, served, planned, cooked, decorated, welcomed, and helped make this night possible! ❤️

It was such a joy seeing so many children, youth, families, and neighbors come out and enjoy the evening together. We had a lot of kids from the neighborhood join us, and while we can’t share pictures of everyone to respect and protect the privacy and safety of those children, we want you to know just how special it was to see our community come together!

A huge thank you to all of our vendors who came out and shared the good things they are doing in our community. We are grateful for the ways you serve and invest in the people around you!

This is part of our mission — to be the church beyond the walls of our building, to love our community, build relationships, serve others, and share the love of Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a special night. I’m so grateful for our church family and our community! ❤️🙏

I wanted to pass along an opportunity for our youth who may be interested in attending a conference-level youth event at Aldersgate next month.

The retreat will focus on the Fruit of the Spirit and will be a great opportunity for our students to connect with other youth from around the conference, grow in their faith, spend time together, and have some fun along the way.

The retreat will take place November 13–14 at Aldersgate.
If you have a student who may be interested in attending, or if you would like more information about the event, please reach out to Marshall. He can help answer questions and provide the information you need.

📖 JOIN PASTOR JAMELLE FOR BIBLE STUDY!
Family, I’m excited to invite you to a 4-week Bible study through the book of Colossians!

📅 Wednesdays — October 7, 14, 21 & 28�⏰ 6:00–7:30 PM�📍 Wesley United Methodist Church

We’ll walk through Colossians chapter by chapter, dig into what the text says, understand its original context, and ask: What does this mean for us today as followers of Jesus?

You don’t have to be a Bible expert. Bring your Bible, your questions, and an open heart ready to learn!

One important note: the plan was originally for this study to be in person only. However, several people reached out needing an online option, so we’re adding Zoom for those who cannot be with us in person.

The primary focus will be on those gathered in person, but we’ll have someone monitoring Zoom questions and I’ll do my best to include those joining online. We’re still working out the technology, so there may be some hearing/audio challenges as we figure out the best way to make it work.

If you’re joining by Zoom, please mute yourself when you enter and have your Bible and questions ready.

Homecoming 2026 was AMAZING! ❤️🙌🏽

What a beautiful day of worship, fellowship, laughter, memories, and celebrating what God is doing at Wesley UMC!

So grateful for everyone who served, helped, welcomed, cooked, organized, and gave their time to make this day so special. So much happens behind the scenes, and it does not go unnoticed!

I loved seeing our church family come together—not only to celebrate one another, but to love and serve our community. From the fellowship and photo booth to raising money for The Nest, it was a beautiful reminder that when we freely give what God has given us, Kingdom work happens!

What a day! What a church family! ❤️

Homecoming 2026 is in the books, and I can’t wait to see what God does next!

What a blessing it was to gather together for Homecoming 2026 and raise money to support The Nest - Center for Women, Children and Families! ❤️

We are excited to support this incredible nonprofit and the important work they are doing in our Lexington community. It was amazing to see our church come together and freely give what we have so that Kingdom work can happen right here in our community.

This is what the church is called to do—love, serve, give, and be the hands and feet of Jesus. 🙌🏽
