Sunday Reflections
Hello, Bethsaida family and friends!
By God’s grace, we have reached the midpoint of another week. As we continue forward, let us be reminded that God’s love for us is steadfast, His mercy is everlasting, and His purpose for our lives is one of continual transformation.
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Pastor Harless delivered a timely and thought-provoking message titled, “Evidence of a Transformed Life… Have You Been Changed?” using scripture references Matthew 22:37-39, John 13:35, and Galatians 5:22-23.
Pastor Harless began by explaining that a transformed Christian is someone whose life is increasingly shaped by the character, priorities, and love of Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that spiritual maturity is not about achieving perfection, but about experiencing an ongoing transformation through faith, obedience, humility, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
He emphasized that the Christian life is a journey of transformation. God’s desire is not simply for us to attend church services, but for us to be continually changed into the likeness of His Son. As believers, our ultimate goal is to become more Christ-like in our thoughts, actions, attitudes, and relationships.
Pastor Harless also shared three key characteristics of a transformed Christian, reminding us that developing transformed and spiritually mature servants is central to God’s purpose for His people. Through this message, he encouraged believers to pursue spiritual growth and demonstrated, through Scripture, what a transformed life truly looks like.
We encourage you to watch this powerful sermon in its entirety as Pastor Harless thoughtfully explores the characteristics of a transformed Christian and challenges us to examine our own walk with Christ.
Join us next Sunday at 10:00 a.m., either in person or online, as we continue seeking a deeper understanding of God’s Word, growing in our faith, and embracing the abundant life that Christ has promised.
Have a blessed and productive week, and may God continue transforming us into vessels that reflect His love, grace, and truth.
