On the evening of June 14, in place of our regular service, we will be holding a “State of the Church” address. Pastor Shane will be looking at the past, present, and future of our church. If you do not normally attend our PM services, please plan to do so for this night. If you are a member or attender of Southern Heights, this evening will be important for you. God is doing exciting things in our midst, as He has for decades, and we have the opportunity to celebrate those things and join in with Him in His work of today and tomorrow!

We were blessed to host this group of guys from the BCM at UK this week. They had a week at our church to focus on biblical manhood and even helped us with some work around the property. Thankful for these young men (Manuel is young at heart) and their desire to grow in the Lord and serve His church!

This morning, Pastors Sebastion and Shane had the opportunity to be at FCA at Jesse Clark Middle School. God moved in a powerful way, and we are rejoicing that 3 students gave their lives to Christ!

Our verse today was
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23

We are excited to share that our Associate Pastor, Sebastion Koger, is serving as the Character Coach for the Jessie Clark Middle School lacrosse team this season.

This role provides a meaningful opportunity to invest in students beyond the field, encouraging growth in character, leadership, and faith as they develop as athletes and individuals. It is a blessing to see these connections being made within our community.

Please join us in praying for the team, the coaches, and the relationships that will be built throughout the season. We are thankful for the doors the Lord continues to open for ministry and outreach.
