Join Us on Sunday, November 21 as We Recognize Moses during Worship

Good Day, Family!

If you’ve ever attended the 10:45 Service or seen a devotion that I’ve put together, it always begins with me saying, “Good Morning, Family!” Since coming to Saxe Gotha, I’ve seen tremendous growth in so many, physically and spiritually. I’ve even seen growth in my own family. I’ve gotten married here, we had our first child while here and I’ve seen the worship team grow deeper spiritually. I’ve always been a person to bridge gaps when needed, so I’ve enjoyed being a part of Traditional, Modern AND Youth worship contexts. I’ve even led music with the Senior Adults! In worship, I am a firm believer that there is no “best” style or form of worship and that we should not have a preference when it comes to the worship of our Creator.

Being here at Saxe Gotha has been such a blessing. I will not forget about being a part of this family. While I’m being called to Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church in Camden, SC, I have no doubt that the 10:45 am service will be in great hands with Jason Flores. Encourage him, love him and pray that God continues to grow Jason as he learns more about worship leadership.

Saxe Gotha, I want to thank you for welcoming us into this place, allowing me to be a part of the services and programs, letting me bring change, whether big or small and allowing me to facilitate worship. God is working, even in the face of uncertainty. I know that God is with you, and I know that God holds all of us! My family will miss being here with you. God is still above all and in all. Continue to seek justice, love mercy and kindness, and walk humbly with God. Thanks for the love, Fam.

Our normal worship schedule resumes June 6! We can't wait to see you in any of our services:

8:30 am in the Sanctuary (Main Building)
10:45 am in the Light House Auditorium (Light House, smaller building behind Main Building)
11:00 am in the Sanctuary (Main Building)

Until then, we will still have our 8:30 am service in the Sanctuary and our 11:00 am service in the Light House. We can't wait to worship with you!

Family, please see this message regarding worship and all in-person activities for the next two weeks:

Because of the surge of cases of COVID-19, the Session, out of abundance of caution and in consultation with health care professionals, unanimously decided to move to all virtual worship and programming for two weeks. This includes our Sunday School classes, Wednesday evening programming as well as our various on campus Bible studies and activities.

Kirkin O’ The Tartans is happening this year! Meet us at 10 am behind the Main Building for our annual celebration. Because we are still in a pandemic, our most attended service will take place outdoors this year. There will be limited seating provided in the parking lot by the Main Office, but we also encourage you to bring your own comfy chair if you’d like. If you Andy your family would like to sit in the seating provided, we encourage you to arrive a bit early because these seats will go very fast! We will still be set up in a socially-distant way, but we are very excited to gather as one body this weekend.

Good morning! We are glad that we are able to gather for worship!

At the start of our 8:30 Traditional Service, our internet was down. We are so sorry for this inconvenience. If you would like to attend worship, we encourage you to join us at the AWE Service at 11 am, same bat channel. If you would not like to join us at that time, we hope to have a Traditional recording available to view at a later time. Thank you so much for your patience! See you at 11 am for the AWE!

We appreciate everyone staying safe during this global pandemic. Our Session has met and voted that we can now sing in worship again (with masks)! Singing to the Lord is an important part of who we are as worshippers. We are very excited to share this great news with you. Please join us in worship in person if you are comfortable! We also encourage you staying home and tuning in if you are not comfortable with joining us in person.

We want to take the time to publicly thank all of these people who are serving on Sundays and keeping our worship services running. We are missing a few people in these photos, but we are still so thankful for them. We all miss worshiping with you in person. We want all of you to stay safe and continue worshiping with us in your homes, but we still can’t wait for that first in-person worship service to get here!
