Nicodemus, a Pharisee and teacher of Israel, likely thought himself to be a righteous man who would no doubt experience the Kingdom of God. Jesus, however, completely turned Nicodemus's expectations upside down when He told him, "you must be born again" (Jn. 3:7).

How many today live with the assumption that they're citizens of God's Kingdom because of credentials? "I grew up in the church," "I attend worship every week," "I strive to live with integrity." These, and many other reasons, are often given as evidence of relationship with God. While many of these reasons are good, they are not the basis for whether one is a Kingdom citizen. The basis is whether or not one has been "born again" (Jn. 3:3, 5, 7).

We encourage you to join us this Sunday at 11:00am was we unpack John 3:1-15 and discover how all of us can experience the life-giving new birth that is found in Jesus!

Compared to men like Paul or Peter, Stephen might seem like an insignificant figure. Besides a few references at various points in the book of Acts, his story is contained to just two chapters (Acts 6 and 7). Although his name appears far less often than other Biblical characters, his impact on the early church and the spread of the Gospel is immense. Stephen’s unwavering faith was the catalyst that propelled the good news of Jesus from “Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). His story is one that emboldens faith, warns of the dangers of hard hearts, and reminds us that God’s purposes will prevail despite human opposition and rebellion.

Join us at 9:30 this Sunday morning to discover more lessons from the life of Stephen and see how he points all of us the One we need most – Jesus Christ.

To one degree or another, all of us have wrestled with feelings of depression. For some, the feelings are temporary and fleeting; for others, they are chronic and debilitating. However the feelings manifest, it is crucial that we respond to them appropriately. But how should we move forward when these feelings flood our minds? How can we conquer what seems to be unconquerable? Thankfully, God provided tools necessary to equip our minds to push past the
despair and find peace, comfort, and hope in Him.

Join us this Sunday at 11:00am as we allow God's Word to guide us through this prevalent and challenging topic.
