We are a vibrant, progressive, LGBTQIA+ friendly Christian church. in person and via YouTube. We welcome all who seek to know God. We believe that, although we are many members, we are one body in Christ. We have been called as well as challenged by God to respect and reconcile our differences. We recognize and love each individual as a child of God. We welcome, respect, support, and lovingly enco

urage people of every race, ethnicity, creed, class, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, and physical and mental ability to join us on our journey of faith. This faith journey indeed calls Hancock Members not to be silent in the face of prejudice, injustice, and exclusion, but to express our faith, in word and deed, for justice and inclusiveness for all humanity. As Paul wrote to the Galatians, “In Christ there is no longer Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for all are one…”

✨ Hancock Flashback Friday ✨

Recently Jean stopped by Hancock with her friend Mary and was gracious enough to share her story of getting married while her finance was on a weekend pass in the Army before he got deployed overseas. ❤️

As we continue this new chapter at Hancock Church, we’re grateful for the stories, faith, and community that connect generations together.

Hancock’s Annual Appeal has Kicked Off!!

Hancock’s Annual Appeal kicked off on Sunday, October 26, 2025, with a delicious luncheon, remarks, photo booth and more!!

The Giving Committee would like to thank everyone who came and participated in the Annual Appeal Kick-off Sunday. If you enjoyed the food, the fellowship and the activities, then we did our job highlighting the theme of “Together in Faith, Community and Action.” You are what makes Hancock Church what it is and we thank you very much for it.

The active period of the appeal runs through November 23, 2025, when we will celebrate during the Sunday service.

Pledges will continue to be accepted through December 31, 2025, when we officially close the appeal. Our goal for this year’s appeal is $700,000, roughly 5% more than was pledged last year.

To make your annual pledge visit the 2026 Annual Appeal webpage on the Hancock website
